Hello love watching your videos your my favourite Star Wars content creator who I keep coming back to no matter how much time has past a really good video. Thanks for being here it’s been hell on the front lines of the Anti Dolphin partisan movement
First, he thought they'd died on Kamino because Crosshair lied to shield his brothers, even though he disagreed with them. Then, Rampart was more interested in covering himself within the Imperial system by hiding the fact that CF99 wasn't dead (hence killing Mayday). He probably thought the Bad Batch would either hide in the Outer Rim (which they tried to do) so that reports of their existence could be "managed" or they'd get themselves killed without being identified and save him the trouble.
The theory that Lea remembered her mother through the force . But doesn't that defeat the purpose of taking recruits before they could remember their mommies. Could Jedi in order remember parents through the force. Yes in a comic Obi wan has friend who Left to find her Father after visions. And she didn't even spend months in her womb
Well, there's a few ways to interpret that. We could recognize that Lucas changed his mind a lot and just take everything that's said at face value and not worry too much about continuity and contradictions. Or, we could recognize that memories are actually kinda shitty and it's easy to misremember things. Uncle Owen never told Luke the truth about his real parents, so maybe Bail Organa never told Leia about her real parents either and only ever said that they died when she was very young. Memories from early childhood are going to be pretty hazy regardless. The sad woman that Leia "remembers" as a mother may have been a wet nurse or other caretaker. Or we could accept the theory that she remembered her mother through the Force which makes the Jedi act of cradle robbing even more unforgivable because that means that not only were they forcibly taking children from their families (officially, the families probably "voluntarily" gave their children to the Jedi because it'd be dangerous to not have Force training, but in most cases it definitely would have been a case of being voluntold), they were doing so under false pretenses.
Which begs the question, does being able to do so necessarily mean they did? Perhaps Leia wanted to know her mother so much she reached out with the force to do so. But others who didn't harbour the need to think of someone they never met didn't.
It's easy for a very spoiled rich kid from Naboo with zero leadership skills, to think he could lead; that money could fix everything from buying friends, to making problems go away. This was Palpatine's long way of discovering why he Jedi, who were powerful in the Force, didn't want to govern.
After watching this video, it made the Death Star sounded even more ridiculous. If Palpatine wanted to keep the Imperial military economically satisfied while also maintaining the high morale, he needed to allow at least one big enemy to exist for real after the Clones Wars. And this is one of the reasons why the Abbasid Caliphate allowed the Roman Empire to continue to exist after they won the revolution against the Umayyad Caliphate. Only after the Abbasid Caliphate fully consolidated the administration in all of its territories during the reign of Caliph al-Mahdi when the Conquest of Tarsus happened and the annual Arab raids into Anatolia resumed in full scale. And these raids eventually taking the ritualistic form during the reign of Caliph Harun al-Rashid because it symbolized the status of the Caliph as the leader of the ummah. And that is the point, the Empire has no enemies to fight after the Clones Wars until the rebellions occurred or when they encountered the Grysk from the Unknown Regions. And by that point, it is too late for the Empire. In fact, this whole thing makes Palpatine sparing Maul in the aftermath of that duel on Mandalore to be completely all for nothing. If only he decided to use Maul and the Shadow Collective as this threat that the Empire must fight instead, the Empire might lived longer a little at least.
He was probably planning to do just that, except the Maul loyalists saved him the trouble and broke Maul out of prison. As has been shown in the Bad Batch, Rebels and Andor there were plenty of Seperatist holdouts, "insurgents", pirates and criminal gangs operating more or less independently in the wake of the Clone Wars for years before a formal Alliance was formed. The whole approach Palpatine could use was "support a strong military so these factions can't threaten us again like the CIS did". The Death Star was created in secret so he could drop the act and say "Obey or Die" to any whole planet who might give his political opposition a base of economic power to threaten his control. Then it got blowed up and the exact reverse happened - large numbers of world declare themselves in rebellion and could, until the Impetial Navy arrived, provide exactly that support.
@@kenle2 Correction: Maul's loyalists did not break him out. He escaped when the clone troopers were executing Order 66 on Ahsoka. However, he has Gar Saxon in his hands. But instead, he is made the Imperial Viceroy of Mandalore. What Palpatine should have done is making him the leader of his own Death Watch, have him reclaim the worlds that are part of the Mandalorian Space while the Empire dealt with the Separatist holdouts to give him enough time to gain the make the Mandalorian Space looked big. And when that happened, the remnants of the Empire's enemies will flocked to the systems ruled by the Mandalorians. And this is when the Imperial-Mandalorian War begins for real. And by that, I mean both the Imperials and the Mandalorians simply conducted raids against each other at the borders annually. This will keep the militaries of both sides satisfied with the Mandalorians finally returned to the old way while the Empire has an actualy enemy to justify its massive war machine. This, however, means no Death Star here.
We need to see more imperial army in live action and animation. I know we saw alot of them in andor thankfully but we need another mimban esc scene from solo. @@charlestaylor253I must respectfully disagree. One of the key strengths of the Vong campaign was their ability to exploit the political disunity of the New Republic. The Borg have no such disunity. Combine that with the fact that their biotechnology, while highly advanced, was still of the mundane variety, I don't think it would be the curb-stomp you suggest. I'd wager the Vong would see several early successes, but would eventually rout against an enemy that has adapted to their biological weaknesses and cannot be meaningfully infiltrated.

And so I could see why places they did have restrictions in leaving would be an issue.. Example of the clone wars series opening an issue. Mandolor was supposed to be neutral why Obi had come alone to rescue Saltine. . An over thrown leader. Not individual slave so more political and they could just Bought Smee out of slavery. Can you be more specific on history that is Canon vs legends more? I assume you are talking disney timeline unless otherwise stated recently since you bring up all thee Disney timeline stuff.

Congratulations, evil Sith Lord! You have finally conquered the entire galaxy! Now it's your job to... (checks notes) try to make everybody in the galaxy happy. Good luck with that!
You completely missed the emperors over all agenda. He cared for his immortal rise not some puny empire. He had already replace that failed engine with 2 others during his time. Morale pift... immorality... YES PLEASE!
To use a modern phrase that applies so well here, Palpatine needed to "drain the swamp". He replaced a corrupt Chancellor but the people who corrupted that man never went away. The same corrupt Senators were still there and never faced any consequences for their behaviors. Frankly, he should have arrested a lot more of them after he took power. He could have held power much more easily with them out of the way. Imagine him hold power legitimately then having Sith history added to school curriculum or just using propaganda to make the Jedi look like bad guys who were religiously biased. Just come out after a few years of good times and openly state he's a Sith, have the Jedi attempt to arrest him, then have the entire military rightly destroy the Jedi. Since no one had heard of Sith before they would likely fall on Palpatine's side.
Killing everyone that degree with you and replace them with more loyal people, is not a terrible idea, look at Stalin that also used fear like Palpatine , Stalin got rid of all the generals that were against him and that move saved him later on and allowed him to win the war by opening the pathway to a new generation of military officers and the Soviet Union became a super power , Gorbachov(sorry if I misspelled ) the last president of the USSR was more open minded and trusted people from different ways of thinking, he was betrayed and humiliated, the Soviet Union collapsed
That's actually been the staple of most militaries throughout history. Even the nations with a long-standing professional military service in place has to recruit from somewhere and wealthy, happy people rarely want to sleep in ditches and get shot at in grimy, far-away countries.

Hello love watching your videos your my favourite Star Wars content creator who I keep coming back to no matter how much time has past a really good video. Thanks for being here it’s been hell on the front lines of the Anti Dolphin partisan movement
Thanks!
I love watch/listening to your channel.
I was expecting Vice Admiral Rampart would be more involved in trying to hunt down CF 99 in order to leave more loose ends
Stormtrooper, "Are we the baddies?"
Nope
"Our Helmets look like skulls!"
1:22 i’m pretty sure most dictators do that
20:03 he just explained what dictators do
The theory that Lea remembered her mother through the force .
Thx for the video!
It's easy for a very spoiled rich kid from Naboo with zero leadership skills, to think he could lead; that money could fix everything from buying friends, to making problems go away. This was Palpatine's long way of discovering why he Jedi, who were powerful in the Force, didn't want to govern.
Favorite channel for Star Wars content but specifically Imperial content ❤️
All things considered, the Stormtrooper Initiative was really stupid. Clones were far less likely to turn.
Thanks for the video
We need to see more imperial army in live action and animation. I know we saw alot of them in andor thankfully but we need another mimban esc scene from solo. I just love the costume design, it's like a 70s futurism Wehrmacht and I always love to see it anywhere, one of my favorite costume designs in star wars
Honestly i think we need too see more of the imperial army and save the Stormtroopers as elites since that what they are initially as
How would a war against between the vong and the borg go?
The Vong would go totally ape shit against the Borg. To answer your question, my money would be with the Vong for a final victory.
Borg is hard to defeat. I would imagine assimilation would cause complete reversals of initial successes if any by the Vong
How interesting, Palpatine like Hitler or Stalin loses sight of the world he is holding control off. But, in real life Stalin realized that he needed to let go of the fear and control to survive the war and maintain power.
The worst historical análisis
Just like that disposable soldier in Bad batch S1.
As with everything Palpatine did
Everything was for the empire
plz dont ever stop posting
How come Obi wan could take of his personal issues 🤷.
if the Jedi were not supposed to have attachments yet attached to the republics the Anakin couldn't go back and free his mom because the Jedi weren't supposed to have attachments. That plot hole is inuniverse. It would set off the plot if they did go back for Smee individually but Watto already sold her to the family who freed her and he gets visions of her death years later.
.
I see why those working in the name of a government couldn't just go off and challenge places they had no jorestictin in.
Obi came to fight with Maul.
And reason Jedi couldn't change the hole system because it would an act of war. Obi Wan's personal issues attachment was After war started anyway. That's more blind unseen how come Obi could take his personal issues in hypocrisy. That's flat out double standards
Regarding 5:08 J.F.K. had some inspiring words that, in contrast, might show the state of the galaxy as a civilization.
“Ask not what your country can do for you-ask what you can do for your country.”
Flipping the point of view from "selfish" to "self-less", is it even possible on our planet? Coruscant is said to have a population in the trillions. Cohesion in working towards the common needs and good of all, and yet also rewarding the contributing participants who excel and lead the way to greater times and prosperity.
Hey Alan, could you dock U-wings with a Gozanti?
Hello there allen
Palpatine saying that the clones blindly follow orders while the new stormtroopers do that same with more willingness.
Ironic - sheev palpatine
Palpatine lying through his teeth? unbelievable, I tell you.
The officer on the thumb nail looks like a better sly Stallone
That’s probably what he would look like if he didn’t have face paralysis as a kid
My life for the Empire 🫡
EYYY Ya read the Star Wars Manga! Good shit
11:10 officially, there never was a clone rebellion on Kamino...
Me: Image a Man standing on top a giant pillar that’s a sculpture sphere and he’s addressing a mess of people all whom are mesmerized by him and your ADHD finally shuts down enough to let you here him speak……
Palpatine: I love Democracy I love The Republic
Me:🧎♂️
How do you still have topics to talk about? I swear you’ve talked about everything in SW lol
Can you guys make a video on parallels between Star Wars and Hinduism?
The Empire is totally chill, I should like, join it or something 🤔
Your alegiance is to the Republic you say, eh? I hear that re-education camp is pretty nice this time of the year.
Yep pretty much
Alderaan and it's WMD program. Colin Powell, come on down.
A good insurance plan and a lunch break would have got me to enlist. "All hail the Empire.- 👍
There's a why we separate military and the police, one fights the enemies of the the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people
5:24 without citizen-soldiers the Republican also limited how The Clone Wars effected families outside of the war zone. This made it so poor people, like that trooper, wouldn’t have military service as an opportunity. It also disconnects the people from a far away war. It makes almost all of the war between droids and clones, seem more of an abstract idea rather than a war with actual suffering and death.
Write that down. Write that down!
thinking he just needed some more super star destroyers to get'er done ..... just saying
If the emperor actually gave consideration to morale, his empire truly may have lasted 10,000 years
Big question from ignorance: the officer on the thumbnail is Silvester Stallone? He looks like him
Id love to hear how this was handled in legends
Can you be more specific on history that is Canon vs legends more? I assume you are talking disney timeline unless otherwise stated recently since you bring up all thee Disney timeline stuff.
Miranda's the reason Imperial officers can't cheat on their wives😊
This is something i absolutely hate about the Disney canon, the empire lasted only a year after Endor, in the old EU, the Remnants were around for decades and still a major threat. Which is far more on point considering the size of the empire.
I think the ISB also counts as the FBI of the Star Wars galaxy, but more political and authoritative
Congratulations, evil Sith Lord! You have finally conquered the entire galaxy! Now it's your job to... (checks notes) try to make everybody in the galaxy happy. Good luck with that!
Clones don’t need representation, they’re clones.
Tarkan.. the greatest supporter of the rebel cause..
You completely missed the emperors over all agenda. He cared for his immortal rise not some puny empire. He had already replace that failed engine with 2 others during his time. Morale pift... immorality... YES PLEASE!
How Palpatine Maintained Morale: Money.
This is crazy but I could've sworn you were describing Trump when talking about Palpatine.
FOR THE EMPEROR!
How Palpatine Maintained Imperial Military Morale?
That's the neat thing: he didn't.
Imagine the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps as a dumping ground for unemployed and troubled youth.
That's actually been the staple of most militaries throughout history.
Even the nations with a long-standing professional military service in place has to recruit from somewhere and wealthy, happy people rarely want to sleep in ditches and get shot at in grimy, far-away countries.
@@kenle2 India, where the armed forces absorb the unemployed, and the United States, where people facing criminal charges are given the option of military service as an alternative to prison.
Long live the empire
Long live the Empire!!!
Starting with better rations & not punishing troops for having real food. Better armor.
A propaganda machine has its advantages.
Palpatine always was good at taking advantage of the desperate.
How did Emperor Palpatine maintain Imperial moral ?
The answer is simple .
He simply used force lightning until moral improved .
And then he sent Lord Vader to convince anyone left with low moral to improve their attitude .
What's so hard to understand ?
Do you need a visit from Lord Vader ?
If Darth Bane had been killed with the rest of the sith lords, how do you think the republic would have turned out? After 1000 years would it still have turned out like it did in the movies or were many of their problems and corruption perpetuated by the sith and their puppets?
Great video, I watched it twice.
Despite some mistakes, Star Wars has become a wonderful example of how fascist can rise subtly, and die in a spectacular way. And the horrors it will commit along the way. 😔
Ironic, the dark side was supposed to grant someone the power to break their chains yet Palpatine and the empire were shackled to public opinion.
This pretty much describes America
You have a wonderful view out those windows behind you Allen. Where do you live mate?
14:33 This sounds a lot like how the Feldgendarmerie (Geman Military Police) in WW2 became more and more antagonistic towards their own soldiers to try and keep the war effort going, to the point where they harassed and punished their own wounded for "desertion".
I was they yo the same as the comisar of Warhammer
To you know shoots all person say somabdy dont like the huy
Checks and balances
