Great review. I’m with you on the size. I have a slick stick at 60 and that is as short as I am comfortable with. Will be good to see you more regularly. No stress though 😁

glad your back,i know you put yourself out there for us arm chair shooters to watch,but do i notice a slightly shorter draw,seems you used to be abit deeper into your anchor?

Hey neighbours and I did not know about them ... nice website as well ... the only issue, they don't state if the bow is centershot or not in the description ... I like that they have 64" variants ... have to keep that in mind when I step up in poundage next time and buy a new one ..
Jim may I ask , out of this bow or the cottonmouth, which would be your choice??? Which shoots better !??

Nice bows from Austria. Been thinking about getting me one of their real longbows before the summer break. I'm not a big fan of hybrids.

I’m holed up at the moment with a bad shoulder, but when things improve, I’m sure… although I did one on the classic which is more or less the same thing 😅

Hey Jim, have you tried any bow from 'Mandarin duck?' Try one of their bows. You can try 'Mandarin duck black hunter', comes with takedown longbow and recurve version, interchangeable limbs. It costs only 150 usd. Really nice bow for low price.

I bought the same thing but from Lancaster Archery. They are my people. Galaxy Ember.
Don't know how you can shoot after the string makes contact with your hat brim. I cannot do that. Talk about losing focus.

How can you review a bow when you have not tuned an arrow for the bow. It will simply shoot wild.
It honestly won’t, when you’ve been around Archery and Archery equipment long enough, you can usually make a pretty good estimate as to the arrows you need based on poundage and a couple of other factors.
When I’m reviewing a bow, it’s less about where the arrows go and more about how it shoots.
there is no such thing as hybrid it is either longbow, recurve or reflex-deflex
