This has a lot more of a rock edge when he does it live the guitar riff is heavier and solo a bit longer. He also usually hits a nice double high tenor C at the end.
His Velvet album was so good and it's too bad it didn't get the recognition it deserved. If you follow Adam you notice some of the same people in his videos dancing. He's always used his friends when he can in his performances on tour and in videos. This album is definitely the one he wanted to make.

When this was released, Velvet was an EP but a full CD was later released a day or two before the pandemic hit so all of his promo and touring got cancelled. Lots of good Live Sessions from Velvet on his official channel. A song and video I think you'd both enjoy is Getting Older, from his covers CD called High Drama. It's a cover of a Billie Eilish song and is really good (hint, he gets older through it). Suggesting the official video as you watched the official video of Superpower.

While I appreciate the comparisons, I believe Adam far surpasses all he is compared to in vocal ability. The way he moves from chest voice to falsetto and head voice so seamlessly is insane! He is so versatile, even singing opera, Nessus Dorma, for his Italian fans. I enjoy your reactions to Adam’s solo performances. More please!!!

A surprise for me I will say. 😮 A combination of a 70s and 80s sound to it. Funk Disco and a bit of underlying old-school rhythm and blues. Thanks, BP2 I was sitting here trying to figure out which song it reminded me of the most. Yes, George Michael's Monkey also his song Freedom. And yes BP1 has some Queen in there. The video is very 80s while the outfits are funky 70s. Almost like the ones on Starsky and Hutch.😅 BP2 if you do have any of those outfits PLEASE wear them on one of the live streams.😂🤣😅 I believe the message is cool. But it's funny because Superfruit's original album is basically this type of sound. You never did get around to doing 'Guy . EXE' 😂😂😂 I may have to rustle up a coffee for that one of this days (probably in a month when I don't use the central heating, so you're safe for a little while longer 😂😂😂) I liked this. One because Adam Lambert is fab, and two, because I miss Superfruit 😢
