What I find incredible is that they were nowhere to be seen at the car week. Every super / hyper / megacar in the world, but no Tuataras. Made me think the company had died. And its incredible how little press or talk it gets even from American car TH-camrs.
Goodness, that's such a gorgeous machine. Aside from the digital panel on the centre console, every single part of it looks as if it was designed for one specific purpose. Even the door design doesn't shy away from the hinge components' noise by dampening it; leaving it to feel like you're entering a specifically crafted machine at the edge of automotive engineering where practicalities are foreign.
Did anybody notice at the end when the SSC is pulling out Shmee's million dollar plus purple full cabin fiber Zenvo is in the background and the crowd does not even notice it, that's testimony to the presence of the SSC Tuatara Striker.
Could sound smoother with a unique sound like no other, that's the next thing they need to work on, but that power 😱 and looks amazing, it's ageing well
Este coche siemore me ha gustado bastante se veahora con mrejor rediseñado con mas caballos de poder y un sonido retimbador de poder aunque se me puede nejorar
For me it's Bugatti Chiron SS, then the Jesko, then the SSC Tuatara, then the Hennessey F5. The Tuatara is gorgeous, though and I respect what they're doing as a small manufacturer. But, SSC really, really, REALLY, needs to hit that 300mph two way goal if theyre ever going to live down the fake top speed run. Clearly, holding the record at 291mph has done nothing to help them get positive press.
@@ZAYMANGAMESTUDIO what they did in 2020 was a mishap and they are trying to show people that they made a mistake with that record and i think that they did get a lot of positive support by doing 295 the next year.they are trying to show that this car is actually capable of reaching 300
It’s 42inches in height. That’s insanely low. The laferrai is 44inches tall and i always saw that as the lowest hypercar. This Tuatara is even lower than that in track mode.
Ye I'd choose Tuatara Striker over any of the competition , European or otherwise.....Only one big question ? is it a proper production car or show & display......It matters!......Still , this car is Badass and sound's like European exotica. Good job SSC.
@@ExoticAffinity It will be sold under show and display, like McLaren SpeedTail, so it can be driven on the road but limited miles in an year! This was confirmed by John Hennessey to Car and Driver! Edit: Don't expect someone like Hennessey to write about not achieving full federal homologation with the Venom F5 on their website! A car without airbags, nowadays can't be considered street legal!
I'm just not convinced of the engineering. Without a doubt, it's an outstanding automobile, but I don't think it's engineered half as well as other contenders. Given the car's power vs drag, we should be looking at a car that hits 340MPH, and while the car holds a 2 way world record of 286MPH, that's a far cry of what the engineering suggests it should be able to do. That's concerning to me. It's also concerning to me the first record wasn't done accurately. I would say faked, but as there's a very small chance this claim was made in ignorance of the reality of the situation, I'll stick with done with gross inaccuracies.
Would you choose a Tuatara over other similarly-priced hypercars? Leave a comment and let me know!
No.
Hello no. Seggs are king
Tuatara all the way
@@dnice362 Agera rs is slower than the ssc tuatara and the jesko ain't tested stfu about ' kings ' child.

Glad to see this hypercar finally reaching production stage.

There's is no other car in this fucking world which is as sick as a SSC tuatara Striker
(In my opinion)
Best lookin hypercar

Wow 😮 what a amazing SSC TUATARA striker sounds so good .
No matter what anybody says but for me it is the best looking car❤ I have ever witnessed.
It is like a demon with a angle face
And also know this was designed over a decade ago. I remember when I saw pictures of it, this was easily best looking cars in the world.
Dont like the tail
Looking like a new hyper Boss ;-)

Who's riding the clutch? 😮
The guy that built it lol
A big retard! No experience with hipercars!
I was on route 80 NJ and I saw a glimpse of the car sitting in traffic. Might be wrong but I think it was this car.
the Hawk Tuahtara
Looks like something you would get in your happy meal
best looking hyper car ever, better side profile than lamborghini
Greatest gas powered car ever?
No one talking about the Legend LFA 🥲
The side pov kinda look like a pagani huyara
cool car 🙂🙂👍👍

It's an American engine, so it won't have high rev sound like Europeans. 🤣
