- I told this single mom she wouldn't recognize her house after we did this overgrown lawn cleanup. She was completely amazed that we exposed a sidewalk that was completely covered with overgrown grass. This lawn was getting very tall and the edging was in horrible shape. This cleanup took us 2 days to complete and we did it 100% free. Watch how we transformed this ugly looking property into something beautiful.

Not only did you uncover a walkway, you also uncovered parts of two fences, part of a chicken coop/run, and part of a patio. Wow, if this were my house I'd sure feel like I'd won the lottery. You and your son do such awesome work. Thank you for sharing.

This may be the best cleanup video on youtube. For me, a landscaper of 20 years, this was the most gratifying one I've ever seen. Imagine struggling as a single mom with all life throws at you and having to come home everyday to a yard as unkempt as this one while all surrounding yards are immaculately mowed and groomed. Now imagine her spirits when she comes home this day to see a perfectly manicured, professionally maintained lawn such as these men just provided her with. This guy is as good as they come, folks. And let me tell you that we do get pelted with flying debris when we weed wack these properties....and that stuff HURTS like hell. This guy is a hard worker who pays attention to detail. I'd work for him or hire him anytime. Thank you, Men.
Brian and son do great work. He has a big heart. Being a single mom myself doesn't mean you're helpless. There was a lot this mom could have done even without money. Hope she keep a up the yard now. Just get it cut and weedwacked once a month would make a big difference.
@@annparsons2112 I agree. My mom was a single mom raising four of us for years, so I know both the struggle and resiliency of single motherhood. Women are the toughest breed on the planet and single moms are top of the food chain for sure.
What a great job. Thanks for helping out this single mother. As one myself it is hard to do this work by yourself, with no tools, and not being able to afford to pay someone to do it. You are life saver.
This also happens to us elderly as well. Most kids today have no time for their aging parents with their own families to raise, sad!
The kids come along and help do the work. That's the way Daddy raised us. How else do parents teach kids how to take care of family and be good citizens.
What you guys do for singles parents and the elderly is grate some people are not fortunate to be able to keep up on their yard work but there is some people who are willing to give back to the less fortunate keep up the good work top notch

I think it’s great when you help genuine ppl in need, I don’t know this lady’s story but using the single parent card is just lazy…lawn growing? Go buy a mower & mow it! I’m a single parent with no family in the country, it’s just me here too! But I still mow my lawn. To some ppl it’s just not a priority. I just hope you’ve given her the motivation to keep it looking beautiful! Great work out there.
Lots of people can use a break. Like new parents who would be using equipment with no sleep! During the pandemic people who have been ill. And it's not just Brian who knows how to mow......

This yard had all the favorites, corner lot, miles of edging, piles of leaves and trees, and magically appearing sidewalks. Looks awesome and hope she was wowed when she saw it. There was a new element in this yard, 🐓. Hope they enjoyed the clippings. Lol. Well done and thanks for being there for this mom and kids.

@@cathiwim Perhaps the previous owner had chickens but there was a coop. The live chickens were the neighbours next door.

Also in that situation once upon a time. Now at over 60, I just plug away little by little. Don't feel the need to have it all in one day. Health wise I couldn't do it like that anyway. Videos like these keep giving me motivation to keep chugging at it.

First, this was a large yard, and go figure, a corner lot! The overwhelm this woman must have had, to the absolute relief, was probably great. For free, she got a whole yard cleanup, not a small feat. Those many buried walkways, the chicken coop, the long curb, trimming the overgrowth, you truly beautified her yard. Now she can be proud, and hopefully upkeep some of it. God bless you Brian and also Justin, awesome work!

I bought a reverse pie.
Small front yard and large back yard.
I can mow and edge front yard very quickly so neighbours are happy and mow back less often and keep grass a bit higher 3-4” so I don’t need to water it.

One of the biggest reasons I love to watch these kinds of videos is that it shows that, despite what msm and pundits and talking heads, etc., want you to believe, there still is a great amount of goodness in this world with folks like you just trying to do their small part to make the world that much better.
Love your efforts. Have been busy with a family member’s hospice journey, so glad I came on, Your shows are satisfying. Transformation through honest labor. I used to love yard work, but my ability to do it is passing on to my younger folk. Keep it up. You are helping home owners and inspiring others.

Wow! This is probably one of the biggest transformations I've seen so far. Not just how amazing the yard now looks but it changed the house from looking dilapidated to actually being a cute little house with curb appeal. What a blessing to be able to do this for people.

@@TopNotchLawns Most may do the cleanup and mow, but just the additional work on the walk ways and sidewalks with the edging and the cleanup between the blocks takes a lot of time but brings the property over the top. You treat each customer as their property is a multi-million dollar property with the quality and care you show to their homes and it certainly shows.

I admire you dedication to the shoveling of the side walks, I have done that many times and it takes a toll on your body! I love a well manicured lawn especially the edges, sharp edges makes a yard look great even if the lawn isn't that great of turf! Job well done as it is in all your makeovers!

On a scale of 1 to 5, you get a 10. Excellent job. So many other Free Yard Cleanup Channels will cutdown and mow overgrown lawns, but leave all the cuttings sitting on the lawn, but you guys not only go the extra mile, but the extra 100 miles by taking the time and hard work to bag it up and haul it away. The city I live in has a 10 inch grass height limit at which time the home owner is sent a letter from the city giving that home owner 3 days to cut the lawn, or the city will cut the lawn and the home owner will be billed for it, and if not paid, the cost will be added to the property taxes. I also loved the music played at the end when showing the before and after video.
The edgers with the wheel really do the best!

One tip: Make it easier to pull full bags out of your plastic cans. Drill three or four holes around the bottom sides of the trash can. It will stop the suction the bag creates when you fill it. Easier to remove. You'll be able to fill the bag easier also.
