I think a headsculpt with regular eyes would’ve been a great accessory to have with this as well as what you said about different hair maybe for each head. As for Marvel Legends they need to hurry up and give us an updated Storm on the Shriek body or heck even wait for that Black Widow updated body.
I’m trying to avoid this line just to keep the budget in line but I did just get the X-Force Deadpool and Wolverine and I love them. Also have their Magneto and Thor on pre order so I’m not doing a very good job with avoiding it lol

Not just cause that's the suit I was introduced to with Wolverine, but recreating that Jim Lee X-Men #1 lineup that Mafex seems to be doing, and the claws on that one are amazing. Could be crazy here, but I don't think they're gonna re-release the tiger stripe one with a flat blue & black stripes. I think that's just their default look/interpretation for them, same as the metallic magenta & teal paint on Gambit.
BIG Storm fan but I’m waiting for someone to do this figure in a silver uniform. Also the blue hair is killing this one for me 🥴. Only Mafex figure I own is the brown suit Wolverine. He’s my desk buddy that I like to pose around. Nice review tho Manny!

I wasn't a huge fan of the face and overall sculpt initially. Maybe it's your posing but this looks a lot better in action to include the face. Double jointed elbows should be automatic at this point. I also agree about the legs but I think that can be applied to all their female figures so far to include Psylocke. So far their legs, especially Psylocke's make me think of Gumbi. Also if Night Wing can be double cheeked, their females should be able to get the same treatment.
The price for Marvel figures from MAFEX is not bad because you do get a lot for your money than sometimes Hasbro does but still maybe $25.00 for MAFEX figures should make more sense, However, Storm looks really cool in her Jim Lee look like she should be with her own ⛈️⚡ powers.

So please, let’s not poo poo on Marvel Legends. And for its price range it REMAINS the smart buy. Yet, having said this, that Mafex piece is clearly the BEST rendition now. I say all this my fellow Collector, because the decision to purchase the new version or not, may not be just a budget thing at all for some of our Fellow Collectors. It maybe a matter of preference only. Should I buy ANOTHER Storm in the White uniform or get that Storm Collectible Balrog? Or that Mezco Mr. Freeze (yeah, I am sooooooo getting that piece 😉). Decisions decisions bro. Thanks .
Like I said in my video, I’m not bashing the Legends even though it may come off that way. I gave it it’s props and is still a good figure even with it’s flaws. It’s good for what it is. You can’t go wrong with any of these either way. Whether it’s budget or preference. Both are great options to have on any X-Men 90’s shelf. To answer your question, since you already have Storm, treat yourself to a new figure. I just don’t know the level of fandom between SF and DC. Or just the characters in general. Get whoever you feel you want the most.
if Phylock is the best Mafex female figure.....I am glad I skipped storm......Mafex really need to up their game for the female figures, their male figures are brilliant but the female ones just not up to the standard u would expect for that price mark. I bought every xmen Mafex till now but cant bring myself to preorder storm, it really does not offer that much more than the ML one.
