DIY interior sliding barn door...DOOR

Mongo Making one of those interior sliding barn doors.
Got family with a barn that collapsed, Mongo has been helping them clean it up. Grab some of the barn wood to use on the door. This barn door will have real barn lumber that is over 100 years old.
Mongo start by sanding all the lumber. The boards old so little warped. Soak them with water, clamp them all together, and let dry to get straighter. Cut the boards to length. Coat the boards with Polyurethane (2 coats). Could stain them but the natural color much more exciting so mongo always just use clear urethane on wood.
Assembly of all the parts. Bead of black caulk between the planks to block any gaps. Find some stainless steel bands with predrilled holes in the pile and think those looks like great accents. Also help with keeping the screws from going through the old lumber. Nice tight fit with no damage.
