Not for Nal, but for all the curious viewers, about the first hack:
Out of water, a wet shirt sticks pretty well to your body, so it's quite an effort to take it off (or put it on); while in water the cloth floats a bit and does not stick anymore. It has to do with surface tension of liquids.
Also, if you take off a wet t-shirt in the situation @Stefan Mader mentioned, the stretching of the fabric will be a great amount of wear and tear... while in the pool it has none.
Good theory but they still took the shirt off inside out so they were essentially rolling it off both in and out of the pool.
8:00 peanut butter, you cover it with peanut butter and wait for the oils to get to work. Alternately scissors work if you REALLY want to use this as a learning moment.

The way the last bottle cap removal works is that the hits deform the crimping on the bottle cap slightly & by doing it enough all the way around it causes it to loosen enough to be easily removed by hand.
The period pain one works. I had a GF once who did it all the time.
Also, the chip bag cooking. That's how it's done in prisons.
Actual life hacks that work:
1)If you have a migraine and can’t get to medicine. Massage the back of your head at base of skull.Also ice packs to your temples works too. Also Midol was originally made for Migraines.
2) If you have a wobbly table/chair old shoe insoles cut up and superglued to legs(also keeps from scuffing floors)
3) take A 9volt battery and 00 grade steelwool touch together to start a fire. Also works with Dcell powered flashlight(torch) take head off turn on light touch steelwool to battery.

Hey Nal, for the final hack, I’m pretty sure it’s the increment of pressure within the bottle due to hitting it, causing it to be opened easier
The bed sheet thing is called hospital corners. There's no fixed sheets in the old hospitals. So that's how they covered mattresses in the hospitals.
The chips bag thing is a very cheap form of sous-vide cooking, where you put food in a bag, vacuum seal it, and then bring it to a specific temperature in heated water. I wouldn't use a potato chip bag for that.
Hey Amber. Is there any meaning behind your ‘Nalopia’ name or is it Aussie slang for small and yet perfectly formed?
Not sure what it means entirely, but being small is definitely a part of it

A few good hacks if you get chewing gum in your hair rub peanut butter or oil into it goes soft them pull it out with a paper towel then wash hair as normal this is from a book called how to clean just about anything take care and see you in the next video

The mattress "hack" is literally how housekeepers in hotels are trained to do it. No really don't see how this is a "hack".
I really really detest fitted sheets. Even the US Marine Corp uses just flat sheets. Learn to put a flat sheet on the mattress correctly and it will stay on till you pull it off. Or you are in bed with my Ex. She could even pull a fitted sheet off the bed by just sleeping on it.
The way you say no is adorable.
If you get gum in your hair, thoroughly mix peanut butter into it. The peanut oils will unstick the gum from your hair so you can pull it out. Then shampoo out the peanut butter.
“I went to gum…” awkward pause… CUT! 😂😂😂 and yes freeze gum to remove it.

The ice and gum in hair does work but not as easy as gum on fabric. you just break the gum up once it hardens from the cold.

The ice on gum really works. I've been using that since before seeing this Tic-toc
Gran used to get gum out of our hair with peanutbutter, it makes the gum all grainy and greasy and then a quick washing will do the trick most of the time. Since hair gets kneaded into the gum itself you can't just pull it off like that though if you freeze it. I reckon freezing and smashing it to bits would work as well but mind your hair will be frozen and smashed to bits as well so might as well get a shorter haircut at that point :p
Straight-up REAL peanut butter, though. None of the sweetened/marshmallow-infused varieties will work as well.

the ice thing with the bubblegum dont work with hair bc the gum tangles the hair, but if you soake the gum in acetone it breaks down the gum in a more paste form that you can just wash it off, but if leave you too long will damage your hair

TL;DR - some jokes, some meh, some bad, some good.
The ones that are obviously jokes, like using the blade end instead of the handle end: those are mocking the whole "life hack" genre, and I appreciate them. The hack of pressing the "diet" button on the fast food lid: genius. I wish that totally worked!
Occasionally- very sometimes- a genuinely good idea will appear, that maybe you won't have thought of before, and could actually work. Using a tool in some different, unexpected way- like using a push-broom to paint a deck. I suppose that could work. The handle and brush angle is designed for using on the floor standing up, as opposed to a traditional brush, which is awkward on the floor. A push-broom's bristles are not made for holding and applying paint very efficiently. But it's just a deck, so maybe it's okay.
The quick-edited one with the construction "hacks" that Nal didn't get. The middle one was literally using a flush-cut saw as a flush-cut saw. Using a tool for exactly what it is designed to do is not a "hack," that's using the tool properly. That was almost like the knife-handle one, but wasn't meant ironically. Those things that are presented as "life hacks" that are simply, "this is the proper and correct way to do this job" annoy me. (The bed-sheet one: maybe people accustomed to fitted sheets with elastic corners are unaware of how to make a bed with straight sheets, but this isn't a "hack," it's just how to wrap a corner.)
Then there are the "hacks" that are useless, pointless, and/or downright dangerous. Like wasting a perfectly good pair of rubber boots when sandals are cheaper anyway: a waste of time. Like cooking an omelette in a chip bag: terrible idea.
wet shirt off = this is true. Taking off a wet shirt really isn't all that difficult. But as long as you and the t-shirt are wet anyway, it can be easier to take off underwater.
coke cans plastic = why tho? Just poke through the plastic with your finger. This is not a tricky thing that needs doing.
faucet sprayer = maybe it might work briefly, until the water pressure pushes it out again. I don't see this coming in handy.
toothpaste "toy" = obviously a lie. (I am an old person; why does "cap" mean a lie, now? Where did this start? I've heard it around. Always new slang to learn...)
cutting can vs pull tab = lol; very funny.
knife handle = lol; very funny.
pizza cutting = if you want to cheat and get an extra slice, I guess. Make sure your friends don't know what a round circle actually looks like.
tile corner = a clever way to measure. I wouldn't call it a "hack" per se, but it's legit.
bed sheet = that's just how to fold a sheet corner. Not a hack.
diet so you don't get fat = This is good. If only this were real!
ear pressure point = I'm skeptical of the validity of "pressure points," but many people are sold on them. If it works for you, go ahead! I don't see how it could hurt.
boot sandals = Ridiculous. This has to be a joke, I hope.
coke rust = Pretty common knowledge. Coke cleans rust; this is not new.
ice gum = Again, a fairly common and well-known remedy. The rust thing and the gum thing: if it's new to you, it's a good thing to know.
sticker WD-40 = This one I did not know. Maybe I'll try it!
lipstick ice = Seems like kind of a lot of work, when ice cubes already exist. But as "hacks" go, I could see the utility in it.
expanding foam for foundation = I'm skeptical. Concrete is surely more secure, and longer-lasting, and less plastic pollution. Foam may be faster, but not as good.
flush cutter = This is a tool, designed for this very purpose. Using a tool for what it is designed to do is not a hack.
grout spreader = This looks fairly clever, but I wish it didn't go by so quickly. If you have many tiles to cover, I could see this being a clever device to do that.
chip bag omelette = Plastic bag, boiling water, toxic chemicals, big solid chunk of omelette, what's not to love? (sarcasm laden statement of the year. This is terrible.)
mask stuck = lol; very funny.
deck brush = I could see this working. As long as you're not overly concerned with the quality, but it could work. There are also paint rollers with extension handles, that would work better.
wine bottle shoe = Gotta do it just right, or risk breaking the bottle.
car door bottle opener = Does this really work? I'm skeptical, but won't knock it 'til I've tried it.
opening one bottle with another bottle = again: taking a risk. Maybe it works, maybe you break both bottles.
tapping cap of bottle = denting the cap so it's easier to remove. Okay.
It was no "Five Minute Crafts" level of ridiculousness, which is fortunate. Several jokes. Several "meh, not really a hack, but not technically wrong." Only a few really bad ideas. Actually a few decent hacks that- if I remember them when I need them- might come in handy some day.
We make omelets in Ziploc bags when we're camping.
the hole in the coke tab has a purpose, its for straws to go there. learned that one awhile ago.

Chewing Gum: Ice works for jeans, but not as well on hair, peanut butter will dissolve the gum even in hair, though obviously a mess to clean up after the gum has been removed, it can keep you from having to cut the gum out.
