I have had my 1999 since 2005 and it just tooped 100k miles. Hands down the best car I have ever owned. Extremely well balanced and comfortable. The engine and transmission aare bulletproof
I have an 05 e55 Amy that I have had since 2008. It has 53k original miles. Garage kept and dealer maintained. This car looks like it just a couple of years old. Probably the best machine I have ever owned.
I owned one of these. Phenomenal vehicle and extremely reliable. Yes the interior was utilitarian and basic but it is far superior in build quality to the W211 and very similarly on par to the other mercs of the 90s. Common failure points are LCD pixels burning out on the dash and rubber seals wearing out. 0-60 was easily 4.9-5 seconds on these, they were shockingly quick. I miss mine a lot.
The W210 is pleaged with rust issues making it extremely hard to find a rust free example. Fantastic machine but i think the W211 will be the collectors version.
W mode is really only for winter slippery conditions. S is the standard mode. Are the 17 inch wheels standard in Australia? I would upgrade to the 18 inch Monoblocks. Very good video.
One of the best documentations of this car.
Thank you very much for this video!
cant beleive that w210 has done 231,000 miles..... incredible care and attention to make it last so well
Very detailed yet concise review 👌 .. good job 👍🏼

@@Flightline_ thanks for your feedback, I agree it is a fantastic car, I just recently bought a CLK version and yes the pixels do go.
Hi NB Media and Content, could you kindly review a w204 c300 facelift for your next video? thanks!
If there was a muscle car in a business suit. This car is exactly that.

an 11k miles one sold for US$47,000 on Bring a Trailer last week. 🤯 I think people caught onto these.
Do these comes factory LSD?
I’m looking to buy one here in Brisbane, AU
