I bought mine new around 1996, was listed at $1,995.00, I got it for $1,450.00. I love it... I've composed and arranged several hundred musical pieces using it. Great voices, and it never gives you an opinion or argument!
I didn't know people still reckoned with this keyboard, I have had one for more years than I can remember (probably 18). It is certainly loaded with features. Being that I am a bass player I never really got into it. Its still brand new and in great shape as it is hardly ever played. I hope you will do more tutorials as the manuals are difficult to follow and I have never learnt to program it or get great keyboard sounds.
Would someone be so kind enough to help me. I just got a Korg n364... Absolutely love it!!! But I can't seem to get any sounds when I'm in combi mode. I have done factory reset but still nothing. Any help on what I am missing would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
Hi, do you know this keyboard very well? I had it around 20 years ago, and I remember there was an option to choose a bank where the instruments sound really really well (combis? can't remember, something like that), but when you use the sequencer to create a song the instrument sounds different, a more dull, not bright. Don't know if you know what I'm talking about, just wanted to know either those nice instruments/sounds could be used on the sequencer or they are just for playing live? If you mention that it was possible to use them on the sequencer I'll probably cut my ba... off!!! because I couldn't make it possible. No internet info, no nothing in the 90's to check it.
Hi, gabrielirlanda. I also work with this keyboard and all timbres sounds oK! You need trying with serial effects in sequencer. This scheme give the best results in compare with parallel 3 scheme used as default. Deep of effects you may regulate in DAW mixer. I use for it Logic pro X.
@@victornechaev5593 thanks, no, I'm not having this keyboard any longer, I got the Krome Ex recently, but I see that on the Krome you can add those Fx's to make the instruments sound really well to use in the sequencer. I see now that you can use those Fx's on the N364 sequencer, which I didn't know. I was just curious, I've been using the N364 for a couple of years, for creating songs/CD and I didn't know I could add those FX's to enrich the instruments. Damn!
@@gabrielirlanda , thanks for quick reply. I love my N364, but during 20 years I become owner of Korg 01/wfd, yamaha psr-630, medeli a1000 (great keyboard, better than yamaha s950) and roland xps-10 (great expandable synth/sampler with 128 voice of polyfony). This park of instruments plugs to Soundcraft fx16ii mixer via 2 external firewire soundcards of Echo Audio - AudioFire 12 and Audiofire 8pre (20 duplex audio channels 24/96 total). This rig I use for composing and arranging music. If you have some questions on this rig, please, no hesitates ask me. Yours sincerely, Victor Nechaev.
@@victornechaev5593 thanks, I also had the Roland 10 before the N364 and it is a cool keyboard. Krome Ex is good, if you can't afford it go for a second hand Krome normal which is cheaper but discontinued, the only that changes is that the Ex has more memory for adding instrument and a couple of more banks for saving them, that's all, it is not a "real upgrade", it is just marketing.
Hi,Yes, factory presets with little modifications:)In my opinion Dx7 and D50 would compare to Korg M1...N364 It is more versatile and it's not as recognizable as those classics keyboards.

I think someone already posted this but it would have been nice if you had posted the sounds that you were using, otherwise it gives you a good sample of the keyboard.
this machine has around 25 years, so yes, it sounds dated, specially compared with DUBSTEP genre etc but it is still powerful depending on what you need it for.
I have one of these and wanted to edit a keyboard split. Amazingly ChatGPT can describe the entire process.

Jyde DA I’ve had mine for 23 years, and it’s probably the easiest keyboard to program. You should get into it.
I've never heard or seen this wondeful keyboard, It sounds fab and I I am going to throw all my gear away and start saving for one!!!
