    Hey Everyone!
Just a quick message to say that I should have said I'll show 'Olympico/Ogni Pietra' to my Dad!
Apologies! I'll choose it instead! :)
    Thanks,

Hello! Dad needs to listen to Arnau's "Olimpico". There is a TV version, there is the power of not only Dimash's vocals, but also the concert itself, and there is an excellent high-quality recording of a fan-camera, only Dimash is a close-up, the smallest details of his performance are visible on it. The song itself is completely operatic and very powerful. Your dad will not remain 100% indifferent.

The man in the white shirt standing applauding at the end is Maestro Russian composer/producer Igor Krutoy. He is the richest man in world music, estimated wealth is around 13 Billion. His mother saw Dimash singing and told him you have to go and see this young man he's unbelievable. After seeing him singing Igor decided to come out of semi-retirement to work with Dimash. They now have an almost father / son relationship, and have worked together on many projects over the last couple of years. Dimash draws many incredibly talented musicians and composers from every country to him like a Magnet. He was born to perform in front of the biggest audiences all over the world and deserves to be regarded as the Megastar Phenomenon he is. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Opera 2 isn't opera. It's Russian pop circa 2008 or something. Amusing, fun, not really opera.
For the full-on opera treatment, show your Dad Te Amo Cosi, Ulisse or Ogni Pietra. Or all three. The last is solo, and has the best demonstration of his competency across a vast range. Ulisse is a duet with a soprano, Te Amo Cosi with one operatic soprano and one pop singer. Bit of a crossover tune but still mostly operatic.

I saw another reaction to the one with the operatic soprano and pop singer, and the reactor spoke about Dimash being able to adapt his vibrato to accommodate the singer he was currently singing with. That’s amazing. I don’t have a trained enough ear for that yet. I’m trying to pick that up 😊

    • @Urgelt
      @Urgelt 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@Nora-jt9zy That was Te Amo Cosi, with Aida Garifullina and Lara Fabian.
Lara doesn't have an operatic-style vibrato. But the warmth of her tone when she joins in changes the entire dynamic of the song. Man, but that's a beautiful piece of art with all three of them.
And yes, Dimash is able to modulate the pace of his vibrato to match his singing partner - if the partner is consistent. I've seen cases where the partner wasn't, and the match couldn't happen. But Lara is Ms. Consistency. She's a superb singer. Aida is, too. And so Dimash fits himself to both. It's a treat for our ears.

He invited Dimash to this event and came out of retirement to work with him. They are currently making magic together! You'll see Igor accompany Dimash on all his performances that was written by him. They are magical and some of my favorites!
For this performance, Dimash is playing with the band who wrote the song, A-Studio. Their lead singer passed away and they invited Dimash to perform with them.

Since you are saying you like vocalisation,it would be good to hear his song called Ascolta la Voce. It's only vocalisation,it's Lara Fabian's original composed by Igor Krutoy, the famous Russian pianist/composer you could see in a white shirt in the audience giving Dimash a standing ovation in the end of the performance.Igor rearranged the song Ascolta la Voce, added lyrics and handed it to Dimash who literally made it his own.The name of the variant with lyrics is Know.Maybe a reaction to both songs at the same time would be a good choice:Ascolta la Voce from his Kiev Arnau concert and Know from VTB ice arena,or New Wave, both are great!

Dimash is a phenomenon in the music industry today, I believe Dimash is a Music Virtuoso of our time. Dimash is a master at emotional storytelling ( no matter the language ); he draws you into the emotion that he is conveying. Dimash is the song when he is singing; you can see his concentration and mind-set before he sings... he becomes the song. Dimash is a master with his breath control and vocal capabilities. Dimash sings and performs with his heart and soul to our heart and soul. Dimash is Music

I really don't care for all the logistics of how he does it . This young man is very talented something he's put years into learning. Yes part of it is a God given gift which he gives credit. And he gives credit to his parents and grandparents and his voice teachers. None of which he takes for granted and then the years of hard work he has put into doing something he loves doing since he was a little boy. And we're the ones who have been invited to take this journey with him. My favorite song is "Love of Tired Swans ".

    Some info about him:
Dimash is already singing 21 years now he is 26 now, so yes he has a lot of practice, but he also university trained in classical music, contemporary music and in June he finished he received his degree as composer.
Breath control is because he loves swimming, which he started young with and still does. He can sing in 12 languages and plays 7 or 8 different instruments. He is a huge fan of Micheal Jackson, Queen and Celine Dion. He also had a concert as tribute to MJ, and yes he has the moves to. Still has to find what he can’t do tho 🤓🤷‍♂️
One of the songs that always tears me up is “Daybreak”. It is in mandarin, but without the background story you will not comprehend so best to look that one from Gloria Wu. She has the whole song with a leading background about it.

There is no other word to describe Dimash's level of performance than greatness.
While other singers sound at times like they are singing didies, the operatic music that surrounds him inside out always shines in these beautiful auras that masterpieces emanate.
In Sinful Passion, Dimash is elegance in style and in vocal distinction.
In each of his songs, there are moments of sublime creativity that only him can reveal to our unbelief and to our wonderment and awe.
As a spiritual, lyrical and musical experience for the ages, i would suggest you to react to Dimash's Love Is Like A Dream.

I love Confessa also. He sang it the week in the Chinese show when they sang two songs back to back. He starts in Mandarin so the Chineses audience would understand the song, then switched to Italian. The subtitles add sooo much so you need them. He follows it with the alien song from the Fifth Element, a song that previously needed computer help. Confessa and the Diva Dance.

This song was performed by the talented legendary singer, musician and composer Batyrkhan Shukenov together with the A-studio group. He died five years ago. In memory of him, Dimash sang a song with his group. At 5.50 minutes. Dimash inserted a part of "zhoktau" - this is mourning for the deceased according to the Kazakh tradition.
Any song performed by Dimash turns into a masterpiece. (Sorry for the inaccuracy of Google translation)

Hello, I’m from Brazil! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique (traditional cazaq singing called “Youkatian”). Is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist? Brilliant! The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebyev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

    "Know" and "Across Endless Dimensions"
Know: words were put into this song which was a famous wordless song by Lara Fabian and Composer Igor Krutoy which was called 'Ascolte La Voce'
NOTE; you will hear those two names a lot in many Dimash songs.
Across Endless Dimensions: is his song he was given by an Italian composer for a new movie. This song is in English.

Greetings Adam and thank you for your reaction!!
I would highly recommend watching "Ogni Pietra" with your father. "Opera 2" is of course brilliant and you can go ahead and do that one as well, but it's a bit like a toy-song for Dimash. It was not really even a challenge for him (still, it's super impressive). However, "Ogni Pietra" is probably the best purely operatic song that Dimash has performed, going from baritone, to tenor, to mezzo soprano to soprano. This will totally blow the mind of any classically trained singer!
"Ogni Pietra" is also known as "Olimpico". For me, the best version is on the composer Igor Krutoy's channel from Dimash's solo concert in 2019, but there is also another version from the Kazan Skills event on Dimash's own channel.

His family in Kazakhstan is dedicated to this philanthropic work and Dimash has a Philanthropic Institution for the needy in his country, so for us he is not just a wonderful singer, he is a person of high human values and charming virtues with whom we we identified. And you are to be congratulated on recognizing this at Dimash because it reveals to us that he is also a man of very high spiritual value.

Dimash always thanks the other performers sharing the stage with him. At the end of the New York concert in December 2019 he had each musician, singer and dancer come forward individually to do a riff and be recognized. He has so much kindness and respect for others and this is what makes us Dears more than mere fans. Yes, you have so much more to discover, Dimash apparently can do absolutely everything with his voice (well, maybe not Altai/Mongolian throat singing, I'm not sure his pipes would survive that!). If you want to swoon with sweetness please react to Love is Like a Dream and Thousands of Miles. Some barnburners are Opera 2, Diva Dance, Drunken Concubine (with Li Yugang, another mindblowing singer), Our Love. Kazakh folk beauties include Samal Tau and Daididau. And then there's all the covers of Western pop songs. And at some point you have to do the Unforgettable Day in Gakku..... I won't even tell you what that has in store. I can't wait to see your dad's reaction to Olympico!

That was Igor Krutoy giving the standing ovation. After hearing Dimash give this performance, he approached Dimash and his Dad and asked if they would allow him to compose music for Dinash. Igor was retired until he returned to work and write music for Dimash. He and Lara Fabian co-wrote "Your Love" for Dimash. Gimash also covered Lara Fabians' song " Adagio" on The Singer 2017, and he won that episode, episode 6. I hope you will react to Dimash singing "Ikanaide" soon. The band he is with, A Studio, were the original performers of this song, mind you it wasn't like this, Dimash and Erlan re arranged the whole song, added the Dimash vocals and then it was a masterpiece. The keyboard player Baigali Serkebayev wrote the song and they did the collaboration with fellow Kazach Dimash as a tribute to their late singer Batykhan Shukenov who sadly passed away in 2015. This was performed at the New Wave festival in 2018 where he was a guest and he sang a couple of songs but this one is just epic. I use say I prefer the performances of this song at his Arnau concerts in Nur Sultan and Moscow, maybe take a look sometime. Great reaction looking forward to next time. That last run was 24 seconds, and I recommend Hello, from I am Singer 2018 th-cam.com/video/nmyWxEm0xLk/w-d-xo.html and you must, must, must react to Daybreak from his Bastau concert, its more than spectacular th-cam.com/video/2kZTJjLoD64/w-d-xo.html . You are having so much fun, aren’t you? So I’m thinking that in addition to Opera 2 from the singer 2017, since you already have your dad there and he has a background in opera, you should definitely do a two for one with the following: Olympico New Wave 2019 Sochi .....it has English caps. So many songs .,.,so little time 😉 Olimpico was first performed at the world skills in Kazan 2019, an epic sounding Olympic type song for that competition. He opened up the competition with that song that was written by the pianist that you will see often in the future. His name is Igor Krutoy and last year during his 65th birthday year he came out of retirement to work exclusively with Dimash Kudaibergen. He has already written about six or so songs for him and they each are incredible! Just a sidenote about Igor, he is the wealthiest man or woman in the world in the entertainment industry. You can check him out on Wikipedia because it is very impressive that Dimash has his attention. Great reaction and remember ...don’t forget to breathe. Pam of Utah
