I always wanted to see how these sick images are made. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for your comment!
i like how u teach me unconsciously the concept of "trust the process" thank you!
It's the only way to survive architecture lol
Great Video! As a fellow Landscape Architect it’s great to see an Architect invest in learning the plants we use! Most just greenwash and place “pretty things” for aesthetic! The more we can understand each other, the better the field can grow overall!
For sure! I have a greater appreciation for ur field now, it's not easy at all! Kudos to you 👍
What a great tutorial, really easy to follow along and kept nice an simple, great work 👌🔥
Glad you think so!
Thank you for the tutorial, you are not the only perfectionist here :) sometimes i end up deleting everything and restarting again lol
That's good to know haha I almost did that too ngl
Better than the original inspiration! Plaese do other video for this style of render 😍❤
Thank you so much! If you have inspiration images, send them myway, and I'll create them for you :)
i swear you are the greatest architectural youtuber I SWEAR !!!!!!
Thank you so much! What makes you say that tho?
"Nobody's gonna know... how would they know" just earned you a new subscriber 🤣😂
Yayy! Glad to have you
Hello! Maybe this is late, but the "Lut" you are using is a custom? Would you mine to share it? :)
Amazing video btw
THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT TUTORIAL
Thank you so much! Yeah except for the trees, they were the pro version. If you DM me I'll send you a screenshot of the pro assets
@SurvivingArchitecture alrightt
amazing render! I still have so much to learn, my project looks very model-y when rendering on D5 if you know what I mean (like a toy more than a building) I feel that may be because of the choice of material or maybe environment..? would love to see a video of advice to make much nicer renders!!
do u want to send me a screenshot on instagram or email?
Hmm. I think the reason is that on the inspiration the metal-sheet facade is reflecting the sun, and in the background the houses are in shadows. Now on your picture I am not focusing on the same building because of this. - The inspiration makes me focus on the right side building with the contrast, yours makes me focus only on the center, and not much action is happening there. I think the shadowed area on your render is the behind facade. If you change that, and get some glossiness on your facade it would make a huge difference!
I haven't tried D5 yet but damn those models are crispy. I envy that.
It was difficult trying to get the building to *shine* because it's subtle and doesn't show well until after I render. But I'll play around more with the sun and see the results
Thanks for the input!
@@SurvivingArchitecture yes, I can imagine that. I haven't tried D5 yet, so I don't know it's limitations.
Besides it is still a great job! :)
Finally a girl to follow and help teach me!!
Of course girlll! Happy to have you
Please tell us how you created the fall scene. Also - when I can't get inspector to show up - what do I do to get it back? When I do see inspector show up it doesn't show the list of brush history - it was there an hour ago - how do I get that back now? After using the brush it's very hard to get back to normal one-by-one placement of trees or selecting something to work on - how do we switch back and forth? It refuses now to let me select anything.
So here are the answers to my questions: In upper left corner of the view window you can click the move tool or the eye dropper it will allow you to get back into selection mode. If you can't see it, it's because the Assets window is open and blocking the view so you have to close Assets with the little X. If you can see "Inspector" it's because you have some object selected. But if you can not see the Brushes listed you have to choose your imported model in the Object list (bottom left)... then the brushes should show up in the inspector list. To make the fall colors zoom into the tree you want to edit and use Eye Dropper Material selector and change the leaf colors in the mat. editor window. It's not great but better than nothing. In Twin Motion you drag the weather/seasons slider and all the vegetation changes depending on the season, and to get snow on the ground and the roofs and cars you just drag the slider to Winter. Way better than D5. But D5 interior renders are much better and default look of D5 exterior renders is also pretty good. In Twin Motion they put an automatic adjustment on all materials changing them somehow and I have to go in and edit each one to fix the exposure on the imported texture images or the color or something - I forget exactly what it was now. But D5's mats look better out of the box.
Hi how did you make your render look sketchy like photoshop renders in pinterest is there a way to make it look blurry and sketchy like this?
nice tutorail. i like D5
Glad to hear that!
Great work ❤ and explanation thank you but what about 3d people are they D5 render modele ?
Thank you so much! Yes, everything was from D5
Dear Mam, Salam, and greetings. Shawkat here, a Bachelor's student of Architetcture . This is a highly informative video. Thank you for your sharing. Stay Blessed.
It's my pleasure
...gut!
??
gut means "good" - a good video! ;-)
Hey... great render!... Just one question... D5 is running very smooth on your PC... could you please tell me what PC specs you have?
Thank you!! I've got 16gb ram, i7 processor, MSI RTX 3060ti
Same as mine 😮
I absolutely adore you
Thank you!!
Can you install D5 on your mac laptop?
wow i admired thiss
Thank youuuu for the comments
nice video!
Thanks!
Amazing video! I've try to use D5 and it doesn't work with my computer, it's a good free render engine option, but you have to have the right ~expensive~ pc
Yeah I had to upgrade my graphics card to rtx so it'll be smoother 🤣
Upgrading ur setup is an investment for sure because it helps with other software issues
@@SurvivingArchitecture I agree, for sure is a good investment! I get a little bit upset with this because I really wanna try D5, but I hope to be able to upgrade my setup :)
Hopefully you'll be able to soon! Where are you based? Maybe you can come try it on mine 🤣
@@SurvivingArchitecture what your pc spec?
Hi Can i also have the 3d model in sketchup so I can work on it? Thank you for sharing this videooo
Ofcourse, can you email me?
Hi, thanks for sharing this perfect project! I have a question, this render doesn't look realistic, it's so fancy and cartoon-like, is there any option for this kind of graphics? Thanks!
Do you mean the inspiration image?
no I mean the render you've done, the materials and graphics look like post-digital style... I've been searching for a rendering software to have the ability to generate this style of render @@SurvivingArchitecture
there's no option for this style, its just tweaking the effects and settings until you are happy
Thanks! @@SurvivingArchitecture
you are a legend to me
That's amazing to hear! Thank you
Can I ask for a Sketchup model to practice? Thank you so much
Of course! give me your email and I'll send it to you
what type of computer do you own to run D5 render?
You can download the benchmark tool for D5: www.d5render.com/specs
But these are my specs: 16gb ram, RTX3060 (it has to be rtx for D5), I7 processor
Which rendering software is this?
D5 render
hi can you make it with lumion please
Will do!
Can I have this 3d model?
Yeah, give me your email
Would u like the D5 file or the SketchUp one?
Dayum even the leafs fall....
Yh that's D5 for you
I prefer corona render. more realistic for architecture.
fair enough :)
Why is there no depth in this?
Because it's an illustration
No one's gonna know how would they know!
Exactly xD
Too flat with no shades, you can do much better with D5😢
What's flat? I don't get it
@@SurvivingArchitecture They're being critical. I think it's about the overall image. Maybe not as contrasty as they would like. Fair comment, but think they should have just explained some more. Nice tut!
@@ValdanoPG Thanks for the explanation. I personally prefer flatter images, like an illustration. Too much contrast is overkill IMHO
@@SurvivingArchitectureI like this style better. It’s more original and less hyperrealistic which seems fake sometimes. Love your vids!
