Praying Through Discouragement

‭If you are in a challenging season where it's hard to hope, hard to believe God's at work on your behalf. I pray you find encouragement to know that God sees you, He hears your prayers and He cares about your pain.
Prayer for the discouraged heart:
Lord, I come humbly before You because You are all that I have, You are the hope of my future. You are the light in the darkness, where can I go to escape Your sight?
Yet, today I feel unseen, today I feel unheard, today I sit in my own tears wondering if You care? Lord, I'm broken, I'm hurt, I'm discouraged by my circumstances and I'm feeling like my strength is gone. I plead my case before You and ask if there's any wicked way in me, remove it. If there's hidden sin, reveal it. Jesus You are my anchor of hope, so I cry out "please rescue me". Please secure me in Your great love, please awaken me in Your truth. Be near to me, though You feel far off. Be my rescue, though I feel like I'm drowning. Father, secure my hope in Your Faithfulness, secure my hope in Your goodness. Remind me that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made, remind me of Your love nailed down for me on the cross. Let my lips still bless Your name. Allow my words to speak Your praises, restore to me the joy of Your Salvation. Give me new hope Lord. Be my light in the darkness, be my anchor in the strom. Where can I go that isn't where You are? You see me, to You I lay my burdens down. Be my victory in the face of suffering. Be my courage in the face of fear. My Lord I thank you for the miracle that I can't see, but that You are giving me strength to still stand in.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

‭For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I just told myself that recently that all the single guys will be married before me that are way younger than me at my church that if I put in my head they will get it I I will be last and maybe i will be happy knowing that but this video is spot on to not let defeat get to me

I’m not married yet but from what I’ve learned, marriage is about service and being able to serve God through our trials is the biggest show of maturity in faith and this is something that comes in handy in marriage. I’m glad to hear you still pushed through to serve even through the struggles, God sees you. Thanks for the video 🙏

Thank you so much for this message! You've written so beautifully in the description about thanking God for the miracle that you can't see. That is so true! When God feels silent that's when things are moving and circumstances change the most. I met someone in the spring of 2020, and as soon as we connected I got a thought in my mind:"We should be married." That is yet to be fulfilled if that thought was from the Lord. I've been in love with this person ever since, and I know that God is aware of my feelings. And I honestly want to wait and see, because in my mind this person isn't saved yet, so how can God bless our union? I believe it's possible to have a long waiting season just like in the Bible times, where Rachel prayed for children when her sister bore them left and right. I'm so happy I am part of the online community of believers! Just having come across your channel was guidance from the Holy Spirit, because you are a believer. God is connecting people. And that sounds like a commercial.
