Even after he came back from retirement he fought a prime Mayweather and Pacquiao! The Golden Boy truly lived up to his name.

I’m surprised he didn’t get dizzy!😵💫 And I know that he was probably trying to avoid Oscar’s left hook which was inevitable. But you have to switch it up sometimes. There is absolutely no telegraphing at all on those punches by Oscar. He never loaded up at all. His punches were quick, snappy, and powerful with his guard always up, and his feet under him taking small steps to cut the ring off. Jeff is trying to get a feel for Oscars timing so he can move his head, but Oscar is constantly breaking up the rhythm of his attacks, plus Oscars body language stayed the exact same no matter what he was about to throw. Jeff is almost always miliseconds late to move his head, or block the punch in this fight, and when Jeff is caught off balance, Oscar looks to fire off a combination. It's crazy how good Oscar was early in his career as a pro. His amateur experience really helped him, and gave him more confidence going into the pro ranks. To do that to a 28 year old Jeff Mayweather in such dominant fashion is phenomenal for any young talented boxer.
The more you think about it, both pacquiao and mayweather did not fight de la hoya in his prime, yet de la hoya fought like he was at his best despite his age. Respect.
