Great experience after all. I love how far hotels go if you just tell them your deepest needs. Definitely will be tying one of their hotels soon - I just love a good stay.

These suites were upgraded by getting rid of a bath tub in place of a shower only. Is this a thing now?
Not sure if renovations have happened since - we stayed here in October 2020!
Wow trying to imagine what I could get for $1200/night in Vietnam. Check out the intercontinental phuquoc island. That's where the celebrities go. Quite nice.
We’ll add it to our list! You could certainly stretch $1,200 much longer in Vietnam - Melissa backpacked for about $20/day there!

800 a night thats crazy
I think it fluctuates but that was on the low end too - we just checked and saw it for $1,219 CAD/night on Fairmont’s website. The Queen Elizabeth II Suite is listed for $2,769 CAD/night!
