- I have another title in my mind that I didn't put down. Im wondering if someone shows it. I'll give you a clue. I've never heard or owned the album and it's not a band I've ever mentioned on my channel. First one to show it gets a VCLT.

Wolverine Blues is fantastic and I love Virgin Killer, too. The title was supposed to mean that Time is the killer of innocence, but something got lost in translation!
I saw S&T Young’s video and jumped over to yours. I hope on this thread, too.
Marduk is something to do with a mystery planet or god or something from ancient Sumeria (as is Tiamat), but it sounds similar to the cartoon dog, Marmaduk.
Those Once Loyal is my favourite Bolt Thrower album.
Into the Pandemonium was one I was considering for my list.

Well, Mickey, that's an original and quite interesting topic. Also, you chose some very good titles here. Well, I think Marduk is a great name for a Black Metal band, but that's just a matter of taste, isn't it?

Nice idea for a topic Mike and some excellent choices. I think All hell's breaking loose down at little Kathy Wilson's place by Wolfsbane is my all time favourite title. I also like Budgie - If I were Brittania I'd waive the rules and Priest's Sad wings of destiny.
Quite a good few responses to this thread too. I don't know any Budgie albums but I have heard a song or two
Mike you always have a knack for coming up with some great threads. Brilliant idea and fantastic choices too. Ozzy, Suicidal, Sabbat, Bolt Thrower, and of course, Celtic Frost. Well done Mike.

Fantastic idea Mike, and there's some great album titles in your list. You're right, 'Pandemonium' is an absolutely BRILLIANT word. Up there with 'Oblivion' and 'Moist' and as one of my favourites! 🤣

Love that Hydra Vein album (even the artwork). The Dark Heresy album rocs, and it does have a pretty cool. I once had the students in my linguistics class do a syntactic analysis of 'How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today?'... one of them even knew the song!
Ha cool. From the younger generation that's quite a surprise. Hydra Vein is great yes. I need to spin the second one a bit more, I don't know it too well.

Always loved the Sabbat albums and saw them live at the Riverside in Newcastle twice and later the singer's band Skyclad. Martin was a lovely bloke and really into the music that live he came across as a complete nutter or it could just be the brown ale in the water.... lol.
Yeah I met him in Trillians just before the first Skyclad came out. He was with his then girlfriend. Love those albums and the first couple of Skyclad. I even gave my name on eBay as Sky Beneath My Feet.
The first two come to my mind are great to me for a different kind of reasons. Byrds; Untitled. I love the title because it was titled that way because of a misunderstanding. The album wasn't titled yet and that is why the tape box had Untitled written on top of it. Somebody responsible for the cover art saw it and thought it was meant to be the title.
Finnish artist/band Kari Peitsamo ja Ankkuli; Vedestä Nousee Kasvi. I translate the title in the order the words are in Finnish; From Water Rises Plant. Why i love the title is because it starts sounding as if it's trying to come up with some grandiose statement and ends up very much plain and without any deeper meaning.

Those of the Unlight is great title, it always made me think of the Lord Of The Rings when I hear that title. Rather Death Than False Of Faith is another great title, love that thrash record. History Of A Time To Come, fantastic! A great video idea, I rather enjoyed this. Simple, direct and to the point.

Not being a native speaker I might have a different view on album titles. Let´s see what I can come up with... Very clever ones are:

Danzig - Danzig
Helloween - Helloween
Bathory - The Return (...for a second album)
Saint Vitus - V (...for a fifth album)
When I think about it, dumb album titles are easy to come up with as well, hahaha... what about Dismember - Death Metal???
