The spent envelope is so helpful, and the trackers make it even better! I tend to only use 2 CCs routinely. Since the tracker is double-sided I'm going to separate charges between these two. It will help me when I'm matching them to my CC statement or Google doc. Thanks, Missy! I'm looking forward to your 2025 videos!
Thanks for another great unstuffing video! It makes more sense each time watching you do it on screen. I love the spent envelope method! It has been a game changer for me and a plus to earn points on our credit card for travel🎉
Love your explanation of how you reconcile your transactions. You explained it very clearly. My card transactions are debit card and I want to switch to mostly credit card, but wasn’t sure if it’s a good option for me. After watching this I’m certain I can transition into using my credit card for my needs opposed to my debit card. Thank you!
Missy, how often do you go to the bank? Do you do a deposit every week after reconciling spent or do you hold them for a couple weeks? Love your videos
@@melanieossman2334 Great question! I stuff every week so usually go 1x a week for that. But for this part of it I only reconcile monthly… even though I’m unstuffing weekly - I just keep it in my spent envelope until the end of the month. But you can do whatever works best for you! 🖤
YESSSSS!! Grabs phone raising it simba style to the sky screaming" YESSSSSSSS MISSY VIDEO TIME!!! MMWWWAAAHHHAAA!😈" looks at coworker "uhhhh sorry forgot where I was😬🤭" *mumbles not really sorry* lol
I have a quick question about the placeholder money. Is the placeholder money on your debit spending account or a savings account? thank you in advance, I just don't know how to go about that..
@@bizzybeebudgets Awesome question! Honestly you can do either, but I would recommend being consistent and keeping all placeholder funds in one place. I have a sub-account under my main savings that’s called placeholder. All of my placeholder funds go in there, so I can account for those funds more easily. When I spend a placeholder (like I did in this video) I remove it from my binder and then shift those dollars from that savings account into checking so I can pay off my card. Hope that helps! 🖤🖤
@@YasminaBlue Hi Yasmin! Thanks for the input! I get a lot of questions on this method so tend to explain more on these unstuffing videos. Keep in mind that I also film these segments a week apart so sometimes I can’t remember what I’ve already shown or what explained. But I appreciate the input and will keep it in mind as I try to balance in the future!

@@carolynbailey5238 That is so smart to separate your cards on each side - I LOVE that idea! 🖤🖤
