    Is awesome to be able to look back in time and see how much you two have grown and how much knowledge you have gained in just 5 yrs. Awesome stuff buddy!!!!

      @@novicelumberjack checked the mail just now, it's not here yet. Should see it any day now. It's so exciting, can't wait to see it. I'm going to be able to pressure and vacuum test it after I make up the plates. I picked up a carb pressure tester last spring along with the vacuum tester, just for saws and two strokes that are head scratchers 😎

    Skidder looks like a 648 G3... I have one of those as one of our backups. Those are mere toys next to the L series skidders I use now!! LoL

    When wandering in the country I have accidentally trespassed a lot over the years. The owners have always been cool. I’m always just like sorry just walking thru the woods. But everyone is super nice. And none of it was fenced off.

      @novicelumberjack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Stuff like that has happened to me before and I'm nice. But when they drive their vehicle around my fence, go off reading a bit to get to their parking spot, yeah...a little different Boedy greets them.

    It would be cool if you did get a 465 rancher and Pitt it up against a stihl ms391.

      I would agree with this. I'd like to give one a try.

    I'm the same way bro! I didn't buy this property out in the middle of nowhere for folks wander around on it. They say that fences make good neighbors. I couldn't agree more!

    Funny story. I was cutting some trees in the backyard and had to deal with alot of vines. Big vines 8in full bark tree sized. Thought I was sneaking around on the neighbors cutting on their land and come to find out the owner sold his back parcel to they guy who owns my residence. I was cleaning out the yard I've lived for 4 years and never knew it

    Hey Boedy I've got a 460 Rancher with a 24" bar and I run a C83 chain and I love it. I've cut bigger than 24" stuff without any problems. Hope you weren't miffed at my previous comment on the other version of this video.

    Hate to see folks can’t handle differing opinions. Mine are far opposite of yours but it doesn’t change anything about why I watch your channel. I hope you could read my comment as coming across in a civil way. I enjoyed this video.

      Yep, some folks just shut right down, get all emotional and tore up over it. I don't understand it, and just won't talk about it anymore. The story just naturally led into me talking about it, and it felt right to me. But then, somebody calls me an idiot and I'm like...nope. not gonna do it. It's a total shame. Can't even have the conversation with some folks. Too many people think that it's all or nothing. There is no middle ground if neither side is willing to compromise. Oh well. Here's one guy who ain't gonna lose any sleep over it!

    I too got a 455 rancher for my first personal saw 3 years ago. Having only ran an ms250 and poulan wild thing I thought it was an awesome "big" saw😂

      No. Better to safe the money to buy a 560, 2260 or a 362.

      @@novicelumberjack did you read MY comment in the earlier one? About if/when we meet? Don’t get me wrong, I’m HIGHLY ENTERTAINED by you, but I think that we have some different thought process going on, so I’d like to explain my side to you sometime (down the road) in EXTREME privacy but where we can BOTH enjoy each other’s company.

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did read it, and that was the right way to handle it. Ya see, I believe we can have different opinions, yet still be friends. When a person is sooooo caught up in their opinion over a topic that they will choose to call names and unsubscribe, they are far too attached to the topic. It's absurd. I definitely do not see it with the passion that others do. To me, the issue is simple and usually will not spend any time on the topic at all. I just got to rambling and decided to leave it in to see where it went. No Bueno. It went south QUICKLY!

      @@novicelumberjack I like my “noise makers” of both sorts, and I’d like to explain MY feelings about it over a couple of pots of coffee some time when we actually CAN meet. If I wasn’t so far away (Arkansas) then I’d just make a grandiose weekend trip out of it just to come hang out with you and talk saw BS, but I’m roughly half the country away, so that’s no good. If the opportunity ever comes up then I PROMISE that I’ll give you an email heads up that I’m able to come and visit.
      Does that sound OK to YOU?

    do you REALLY think that your attitude will go fine without retaliation ? I think it might 2 or 3 or 5 years, but without a doubt , someone that you pissed off will really do something to 'get even' I live in SE Pennsylvania, and things are like that here also, people are the same everywhere, but some people don't rush.
