In my current Italian pokemon fan region, I have an ice type dwebble that starts as an ice cube, and then evolves into a Gelato crab :]

Hisuian Crustle would be such fun to find in a game like Sword and Shield or Legends Arceus, you're on the icy waters and suddenly one of the smaller blocks of floating ice dashes across you
Kinda like avalug in the crown tundra dlc, but it chances you down like grappleoct?
Just imagining a Small little Ice Crab hustling at a Trainer as they attempt to run away pitifully from the little boyo

Fun fact: Shiftry’s sandal-like feet are actually based on a fantasy version of Japanese sandals that are way too tall for any actual person to stand in. Tengu must have amazing balance.
Hisuian klefki’s pokedex is so wholesome😩😩. I love how much lore ur fanmade pokemon have and how they also make sense. Keep it up, i will be supporting you for a very long time
Well, Hisuian Klefki kinda reminds me of a Minish aka a Picori from Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap.
Always thought Shiftry fit really well with the flying type, used to play Pokémon Ranger a lot as a kid and Shiftry's main move there is shooting giant whirlwinds.
It's mainly because of their inspiration possessing leaf fans that can create gale force winds. They CAN learn hurricane after all (though ill advised due to their ability being chlorophyll).
That Shiftry looks like it was mashed up with a Furfru, a Braviary, and Zapdos
If I had a nickel for every grass/flying regional variant made by Ron, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it has happened twice

I love the regional Klfki and Dwebble! I can just see a Pokémon trainer coming over a snow covered hill and finding some of these Dwebble. The Dwebble notice the trainer and take off rolling like snowballs as the trainer tries to chase them down
He sounded so proud of that "on the nose" joke with Shiftry😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I made a few ideas for regional variants that I think you should do!
Fire/Poison Trubbish (Based on dumpster fires)
Ice/Ground Jumpluff (sleeps in the ground; has slush on its body and puffs, which are covered in dirt and snow.)
Ghost/Dark Drifloon and Driftblim (based on Ittan Momen)
Great ideas. Would love for the jumpluff variant to be called Slumpuff/Slushpuff since it doesn't sound like it jumps a lot anymore
What an incredibly awesome lore inspiration for Klefki! This was so creative. I love how much lore you incorporated in these designs. Definitely one of my favorite of this series!
What if hisuian dwebble had a move where it throw the snowball, dealing damage, lowering its def, and raising its speed. Then after a turn or two, dwebble forms a new snowball and gets to keep the stat changes

Hisuian Shiftry does look good, I love the Japanese Tengu aspedct more imphasized, but while it's shiny is like an easter egg of modern Hoennian Shiftry, if you look at the wings, it looks more like a kiwi. Am I the only one who notice this?

I really like your designs of these Hisuian forms, really dig into their background lore and make sense. If possible I would like to see a Hisuian Avaligg, Hisuian Goodra, and possibly a new Hisuian evolution of Sneasel. I hope they have some good design.

All of these are really good designs! They would’ve been perfect to add them in the new Pokémon: Legends Arceus game that comes in January or whatever it releases next year!
Hisuian Klefki is beyond amazing. It might be my very favorite of all the Pokemon you've drawn over the years.

My friend also had an idea for a more "traditional" Tengu Shiftry. Difference is that it got a brand new type instead of Flying, and it's a mixed attacker instead of a special attacker.

As you mentioned Shiftry is based on a Tengu, I remembered that it's called Tengulist in German. Had this Pokemon as a go to in almost every Ruby Run I made, and never realized it's got the name of what it's based on in it's name.
I used to have a fakemon reigion based on new zealand and austrailia (and maybe some other countries). I made reigional forms of dwebble and crustle with diamonds instead of rocks, based off tamatoa. I still love that idea and want it to be a thing

dwebble would also be good as a bug/water type on account of it being a hermit crab and when it evolves it can change it's shell into something else cause some hermit crabs can use other stuff to protect itself besides it shell like tin can or paper cups that people don't throw away

I once started ( but never finished) on a Region based on the Southeast United States and considered making a Water/Bug regional variant of Dwebble.

You should make a video designing holowear (like from Pokémon unite) for different Pokémon. It would be similar to this series but would add some extra variation. I would love to see what you could create.

These designs are very creative, but a feel like something or someone was missing here... ludicolo perhaps. Maybe, if you are up to it and that is completely up to you, you could design a hisuian Ludicolo that goes along with your shiftry. I would like to see what you come up with :)

The inspiration for your Hisuian Klefki must be the same as the Piccori from Zelda Minish Cap, tiny people who live in craftsmen societies! That’s pretty cool :)

I think you should add an electrike/manectric with a more ancient look, since it is based off the Raiju or smtn. I guess it could be electric ground or electric fire because of this.
Because of Crustle’s claws being able to cause frostbite I think it’d be cool for it to have a signature ability that makes it so every move that makes contact with the target has a 10% chance of freezing the target (If the move used already has a chance to freeze the target then the 10% will not be added)
Yoooo I made a dwebble in a snowball a while ago lol, but crustle had a snowman on it.
