Great 60s rock band and as you have said very influential. Keep doing the videos as I enjoy them. My No 1 would be Strange Days but so hard to pick one as they are all brilliant.
I agree, the 6 classic Doors albums with Jim Morrison are essential (and they are the ones I have, the others have not interested me) My list (from best to worst): 01) L.A. Woman (favorite tracks: L.A. Woman, The Changelling, Riders on the Storm) 02) The Doors (favorite track: The End -my favorite song of the group-) 03) Strange Days (favorite track: When the Music's Over) 04) Waiting for the Sun (favorite track: No to Touch the Earth) 05) Morrison Hotel (favorite track: Roadhouse Blues) 06) The Soft Parade (favorite track: The Soft Parade) I also have the compilation "Weird Scenes Inside the Gold Mine" but only on vinyl, since I bought it for the cover art. Greetings!
I have all the Jim Morrison Doors albums back home in Ireland I loved The Best Of Double album which I have on vinyl also at home in Ireland. I might have bought the CDs in Edinburgh on a holiday in Scotland. I thought Val Kilmer was amazing as Jim Morrison in the Movie The Doors. Apocalypse Now is fantastic on 4K. ( I have a Laser Disc of it. )
Was just a highschool boy back then but the Doors had an edge and an energy unlike anyone else. My favorite album is Strange Days and my favorite track is When the Music's Over.(LA Woman is #2).
Great ranking of the Doors’ albums. I agree all six of the Morrison era albums are classics. Think I would also place LA Woman as my number 1 but it’s a close call between this and their debut. Morrison Hotel would be my third but again Strange Days comes close. I actually prefer The Soft Parade to Waiting For The Sun but they’re all great albums from one of the greatest musical acts of all time.

The film is amazing. Thanks, Stephen.
I'd put the debut album at No 1, LA Woman at No 2, and The Soft Parade in a charity shop.
Brilliant band Pat and LA Woman would be No 1 also a masterpiece
Yes, Pa, what a brilliant band.
