Fun fact, all these "artificially hard" second phase bosses have weaknesses to certain vessels usually obtained by beating secret bosses. Judging by this video, 4 secret bosses were missed. (Didn't watch the entire video, just the boss fights). Going by the story of JTTW, Wukong wasn't able to defeat certain enemies, he had to borrow vessels and artifacts and what not, to defeat them. I'm guessing that was the intention from the devs here. Usually if the destined one uses one of the vessels, the enemy will comment on it. So... Some people don't use them because either didn't know or intentionally didn't want to use them just because they really enjoy harder bosses. I don't play souls games, but I managed to beat this one. So, for souls veterans, it shouldn't be super hard, but it can still be still challenging for the average gamer like myself. The hardest boss for me was by far a super secret chapter 3 boss. I spent 50+ attempts on it. Looking back, Yellow Loong was a child's play. lol. I'm not gonna spoil it though. But a streamer spent 10 hours on this one😁
Yea I realized this on my next playthrough. I've been making sure to keep a close eye on items like that. So many dang secrets. And apparently I can't get the secret bosses anymore so I'll have to do an NG+.
@@akifa9635 I've started to treat bosses in this game like a soulslike in terms of being more patient and learning their movesets. Still, I don't believe all the reviewers who called this game easy.

not gonna lie that schewpid loong was a child' play compared to the ss chpter 3 boss. And i thought the loong was hard asf at first few fights.

@@LeoLeeGaming I believe you still can, as long as you don't start a ng+. I missed a few bosses too at first, went back and got them all.
Chapter 3 doesnt have a secret boss/ vessel
