Maybe you gotta give Balatro a go, I only know a bit about it but people seem to really love it. Consistently almost maxed out reviews on all platforms. I also think remakes unless greatly changed should be excluded from certain categories such as narrative. + Astro Bot was great but I don’t think it will win much (maybe it might), imo it’s the first true rival to Mario and great tribute for long time fans of PlayStation.

99% dont have a problem with her being female, 99% have a problem with sucker punch switching internally to DEI focus, polices, practices = why the voice actor was specifically selected as a DEI tick box and the main character was changed for this same reason. since the sucker punch has become a sucker for DEI, it depends on how heavy they are on DEI hires for development of the next release, primarily how many DEI staff are in senior positions(top management has already been confirmed pro DEI) of creative control, as they tend to give DEI staff a huge amount of creative influence to inject and project themselves into their work and are typically hired for this very reason at the expense of the game, movie, comic, novel etc, but even when general staff are not pro DEI, management just forces their compliance to the DEI inclusion and work flow. they are using the work done on the previous game engine as the base for the next release, so half the work is already done out the box, so visually it should easily be superior with virtually no effort their end unless they let someone tinker with it to much, gameplay though is heavily effected by story and writing and character design since you need to work the gameplay around them, as such you can end up with lame gameplay experience to push DEI nonsense etc /failguard. ultimately though i would not be surprised if this is another attempt at failguard, i dont think it will be ass bad as failguard as they still need to try "pretend" its in the vein of what they are hijacking and its less flexible vs failguard to inject their nonsense, but they are pretty good at exceeding expectations on how trash they can make a game. simply put anyone who ends up doing a pre-order = a obvious moron or likewise keeps making it sound like the main focus of reaction is to the main character is them being female and then throwing a lame reference to the original games female characters or other games, when any amount of common sense or research makes its obvious its about sucker punch shifting internally to a DEI support. TLDR: yes it went woke, because sucker punch shifted to DEI policy, dont be a idiot mis-directing from the real reason people are unhappy.

One of my problems with that dialogue besides your point, is that the language is so odd and out of place, we're playing a foreign fantasy world, and the use of that language is so out of place, and it just connects our real world politics and events directly into the game, making it feel as if the ambient context has been changed completely to ours.

Really enjoying watching this, so odd going backwards to play this bet it feels clunky AF, I remember being super scared of entering the catacombs. I do hope they do a full mechanical modern remake of DS1 and DS2 one day. From slaying absolute light show dragon ball Z type bosses in Elden ring’s DLC to fighting the controls in DS1.

You're doing good bro! Don't quit. That place is not that fun, so i feel you. Just a quit tip on the Hydra, try to focus on a couple os heads at a time. Target the boss and pay attention to her melee attacks, try to memorize the pattern. it gets easier as you start cutting them off. Keep at it 😃

1:58:37 I think its just bcus she's voicing a main protagonist in a singleplayer game now, that's why people got mad at the fact that Atsu is being voiced by someone like her. Whereas those other games she's been in, were mostly multiplayer games. So people only mainly looked at the characters in those games like Apex, Deathloop, Destiny 2, etc, rather than the actual voice actors who voice them. Like look at Concord, nobody cared to find out who the VAs were, they just were yapping about the characters having "Woke DEI" designs and having pronouns in the menu and stuff. So that's my guess as to why only now, they're making a fuss out of her when we barely even know anything about Atsu as a character, other than being another criminal like Jin is.

Great video. Too bad the hardest bosses in the game drop the framerate (on consoles) so its even harder to perfect dodge. Couple that with the camera its insane sometimes. Good thing they didnt make the game too difficult.

This explains why I have so many times my dodges weren't working. I don't usually play these kinds of games and thought that was the problem. Aside from that the timings are very hard to get used to for me. Enemies have very varying timings within their move set. Some are like almost instant and some wind ups take like a century and everything in between. And I still don't understand the see though move.

7:53 That's by design. Forces you to be more mindful of your attacks and not just spam nonstop. Of course it would make it easier to dodge out of every attack whenever but that's not even how combat goes. You clearly never played Ninja Gaiden on xbox on it shows lol.
