In Red Like Roses 2 the other woman singing is Casey's mom(Sandy Lee Casey). Part one def has the sad vibe because its a song about Ruby's mom passing while also leading into a fight. Its made to match the Red Trailer fight scene. The second part is them "talking" and how they each feel about it and what happened. I burn is the theme for Ruby's sister Yang. Theres not really any lore implications for this one just builds on her character. Lamar Hall is the man singing and he had no idea he wasn't supposed to swear lol, bro just got so hype and it sounded so good they kept it. I can't say anything about Hero. Too much spoilers. Onto the show >:3 RWBY stands for Ruby, Yang, Blake and Weiss which are the main characters. They are also based off of colors. Pretty easy to guess but Ruby = Red, Yang = Yellow, Blake = Black, Weiss = White. Basically the start is a bunch of cute girls going to a school that trains warriors. These warriors fight against the Grimm using very cool weapons and "Dust" which are crystals that give you temporary elemental powers. Grimm are creatures of destruction, they lack a soul and are monsters. Thats kinda the whole plot with zero spoilers. My suggestions - Mirror Mirror part 1 and 2. This song is about Weiss who you havent gotten the vibe of yet. Not only that but Casey's vocals are gorgeous in them. Like angelic typa stuff. She's always amazing but damn. The second one I'd recommend is called From Shadows. This song is about Blake. Reacting to those would complete listening to the trailer songs which were the first four of the show. If you want to just listen to the music in general without caring for the show then I personally listen to Checkmate and Chatterbox. Both are made by Casey Lee William's band and have very different vibes. Checkmate is the kind of song that makes you want to get up and dance while Chatterbox stuns you with emotion and vocals. More of a rock vibe. The Sky Is Falling will be one song I recommend no matter what. It's just a very powerful song specifically the part where Lamar Hall joins in. If you do watch it be extremely careful about spoilers and dont listen to the fans. A lot of fans constantly argue about the show and frankly its better to form your own opinion first before they try influencing your thoughts
