Great video! I've planned to make my own project wiht my canon 600D but I don't have laptop yet. I have my base pc but I would need extra pc for stop motion. Should I buy mac or windows? I've used stop motion studio pro with my phone but with pc its little bit different and I can't spend so much money to dragonframe yet. Should I just buy some good affordable laptot and buy stop motion studio pro for it?

I think you counted the base static pose double in the normal walk cycle. It's only a four frame (or eight frame) cycle.

I also like to set my framerate to 12 while animating, so I can see what step I'm on by looking at the time code. (I guess 8 would be even better, but then the animation gets too distorted for my taste.)
