Right! I had a 2017 Countryman and it didn't pop it boomed! Like turn heads scared ppl boomed on down shifts. Now I have a 2022 four-door S in Green and it's tamed.. I still love it but I miss the booms

Hi pal, glad finally someone has managed to get the pops and bangs back on the mini. I have a question. I'm in the UK and I believe all our cars have got the opf filter Can I still get the pops and bangs on a 2022 / 2023 John cooper works 3dr with the opf still on ??
@@TheMINIac Unless something has changed in the past month, no he can’t do the Countryman or Clubman JCWs. He said the 306hp engine is much more difficult to unlock at this moment. If you’ve heard otherwise, please share! I haven’t spoken with Mateo since 1 hour after you posted this a while back 😂

after july 2020 nobody in the world (only some 1 in russia) can Remap mini after this date.. to put pop&crackle they need to remap. i doubt a little so..
The company in Russia moved to Finland. I know of two companies that can actually tune them in the US now if you do specific procedures. The company in Italy did the pop and crackle worth out having to unlock it. This is a 2022 and it’s not unlocked.

Chilli now pops and cracks too - pretty subtle though did want it to be a bit louder thought but as you I am the first 2022 jcw mini cooper hatch to have the pops and cracks in Australia. @@TheMINIac hi there, was it expensive?? Im in Australia so we have all of the emission 6 parts that the UK do hence no pops or cracks in the exhaust. I have changed the muffler but not done anything with the GPF as have been informed it will put the engine in limp mode, which i dont want. I have sent an email to przperformance and hopefully they can help me too. THANK YOU so much for this video, i needed it today 😊😊
I asked a service advisor. They said it wouldn’t because it doesn’t negatively affect the car and the coding can be wiped when the dealership does a software update.
FYI.... When someone drives past a group of people in a mini and its "popping and banging", the majority of the adult section of the group literally roll their eyes and giggle at the silliness. We appreciate the effort, but it's really just embarrassing. 🤦♂️🤷♂️ It's basically like seeing a homeless person wearing a Gucci belt on his dirt stained jeans. Stop it.

Depends on your dealer but in most cases, yes.
Dealer does not have the right to void the warranty. Only MINI corporate does.

No check engine lights. A few quirks here and there but nothing major. Been very reliable.

I just got a 2024 S with the JCW Pro Exhaust and it sounds great but doesn't pop at all. What exactly happened in 2020 that changed it?
Switched from the B48 to the B46 and changed the tuning for better emissions. The result is less pops and crackles.

They have similar software to the EU. So you can get it to pop again if you contact the guy I mention in the video description.

Time was done by PRZ Performance in Italy using the factory programming and tweaking it.

Should be noted that the clubman engines require an ECU unlock for this to work. PRZperf said it will work when car is at standstill but not in motion
Interesting. Any reason why? Mine is a 2022. The ECU is supposedly locked on anything with a software update 2020 and newer.

Is the burble tune adjustable so you can turn it on/off and vary the amount of burbles?

Also will this programming work on a 2021 GP? Thinking GP mode could be burble mode, regular mode would be off.

Check with Matteo about reactivating it service wipes it.
