HEr personality is so forceful . Rough hard Middle Beethoven roughness in early Vienna virtuoso Beethoven. The older pianos sound brittle like this . I don't prefer it . Richard Goode and Robert Levin (musically they have no peers ) is unforgettable in this and so much else .The famous disappear for me when he walks into a room . I miss Schabel ,Geiseking et. al not one iota and the studios technology leaves so much you have to be a genius just to hear and listen intelligently to what comnes through .
