It’s truly staggering that the copper stands in town, handing out leaflets to ‘disrupt criminal activity’, while at the same time over half of all areas across the country haven’t had a solved burglary in the last 3 years. Have they no shame? Do they not understand the public anger at their apparent complete ignorance as to why their job exists?
I equally find it staggering how armed police and milltary in a far more determined effort, have not been deployed to clean up Piccadilly Gardens and especially, to stop the flow of drugs coming into Manchester via the drug dealers, who should be targeted - drug dealing, trafficking and smuggling are all offences that should have the death penalty, as dealing in drugs is dealing in death
"It's 'conceptually', doubt you know?" 🙄 Just pretentious trash, some kind of money-laundering scheme, or a scam to steal tax-payers money... you decide.
7:48 One of the few times when photography can legally be stopped. Breaking copyright is a criminal offence so it's a valid warning to give. However if someone did breach it, it's not the museum that has the issue, it's the artwork's owner. And the museum can't do anything to find out the who the owner can sue. It's also worth noting that copyright does not extend to sculptures and three dimensional structures such as buildings that can be seen from a public view point. So a statue can be photographed when it's on public view.
In my opinion, the Charlie Videos, has become a little annoying, after he brings his girlfriend everywhere. He`s speaking in a more childish way, i think. Just to have her laugh at him.
Snig Hill got its name from a wedge that hung on chains behind a horse drawn vehicle wheels, if the horse slipped or faulted the wedge would wedge rear wheel stopping it. I'm sure the city passed a law after a few accidents that the Snig ( Wedge) had to be use at all times on this hill. Hence the hills name.

Beautiful City is Sheffield with very friendly people & it’s a great Birthplace of Football & a Super Boxing 🥊 City is the steel city of Sheffield SWFC
Interesting as you haven't done Sheffield for a while. Loved the Hebden Bridge video. The Hipster capital of West Yorkshire, if not the north of England.
Such a pity, as it really is a lovely town... but it attracts the freaks just because the nutcase Sylvia Plath is buried near there, after she topped herself.
Their version of piccadilly gardens is quite nice. Has seats with backrests and they've not put a giant wooden waste of space over their fountains! Manchester could learn a lot.
The Peace Gardens are very much a triumph of urban landscape design. Very traditional materials with lots of lovely but simple carvings with raised grass areas making it difficult for people to walk across and wear it out.
Charlie mate, it only seems like a day ago, when you achieved 300k followers! Now already up to 305k ! Well done mate! Fantastic content as always ! Absolute legend 👍
@2:12 There is law around this, but they would have to prove you captured image of judge , juror or witness entering or exiting the building. Criminal Justice Act 1925 - (doesn't matter if you are on public pavement)
That mess wasn't a 'previous Town Hall', it was a modern extension to the existing one, the previous Town Hall, known as 'The old Town Hall', still exists, but now vacant, on Waingate in the city. The present Town Hall (at 4:50) was opened by Queen Victoria in 1897. The Queen never left her carriage outside but triggered an electrical wire which switched on a light inside to alert the staff to open the gates for the first time. The figure on top of the clock tower is 'Vulcan', representing this (one time) famous steel and cutlery city.

The current U.K. laws on public filming and “taking photos” are something that even private security are “confused” about (wilfully ignorant?) and the GDPR is creating even greater confusion post-Brexit - a total ban on all public filming in all public spaces is doubtless coming very soon via Parliament, given the belligerent and authoritarian stance being taken by the Tories under Rishi Sunak and this would be even worse under a Labour government - other auditors post content onto TH-cam and their interactions with the police raise concerns, where they take the side of private security - the private security firms act as if someone wanting to film in a public space has got “mental health issues” and is “argumentative” for insisting on their (current) legal rights to do so
The rule is: whatever you can see from a public place - that's the rule! So, if that means inside a building ... then so be it. Basic! Shame more people don;t know (or pretend not to know) that !
The ancient tradition of employing village idiots as Court jesters to perform for the public .
That’s got me properly chuckling!

You ever see primitive tribes when a camera comes near them? They’re curious not furious lol
