The Honda Fit has no snow on it wtf. She's cleared her car off, cleared and claimed a parking space, been to work and back and this Maxima man is just getting going. And then she gets out her brush to clean the snow he sprayed on her car off. Marry her.
I love these videos. The very same people that honk at me for doing 60 on the highway and cut me off are stuck. They don't want me to pull them out, they expect it. Karma man, Karma
What I thought about the Jag situation is that that they would have gotten out the way they were going at first if they built up momentum. That truck came by and I guess they thought they would get better traction going that way.
Title should be "Idiots with summer tires try to drive on winter roads". Its not the snow that is the problem but summer tires on quite normal winter roads. With real winter tires, no problems, no video
Well this is the Bronx. I was born and raised in the Bronx. If I had the space to store summer and winter tires I would but in the city, space is at a premium. The best we can do is all season tires and a lot of pushing and shoveling. This also goes for parallel parking. Shoveling out a spot even before parking is such a hassle.
None of these cars have summer tires, you actually have to go out of your way to buy them because they come stock from the dealership unless you bought a sports car and even then , it’s the premium trim, summer tires cost more, and they people don’t look like they would spend a couple hundre more , when they can just buy a pair of decent all seasons. So in conclusion, these cars have all season, which is still hard on snow, but still possible with more caution or help when stuck
The most vulnerable car in winter is rear wheel drive. If it snows, park your rear-wheel drive car. Snow Tires, put chains on. The best way is to use public transportation. Or parking at home.
@@davehenderson6896 With climate change, that is true but NY just like the other popular cities of the world will be facing another problem: the rising of oceans. It is predicted by scientists that by 2100 it will be submerged but other scientists have argued that it could happen much sooner. Just look at what's happening to Florida right now, Miami and Fort Lauderdale in particular. Not a pretty picture.
Nissans and Honda’s are notoriously bad in the snow.......I drive Audi’s, current own 4 and have NEVER been stuck or stranded, AUDI-NEVER FOLLOW-The TRUE PIONEERS!
This shows why I will never be laughed at by someone living in a snowy state when we southerners get snow. You cannot properly drive a front wheel vehicle without snow tires and sometimes front wheel drive chains. Yes Carl, there is a difference!
Push with your shoulder like a football player pushing a blocking sled. Less wasted energy in the unstable vertical motions of your arms. Unless you're at risk of car sliding back on you then maybe use your hands from near the corner for safety.
Here in NYC after you shovel your car out you don't move until Alternate side parking is back in effect. I have seen plenty of fights over cleared parking spots. Luckily we have the subway but my AWD Crosstrek does fine.
All these guys did was wear out the tires and shortened the life of the transmission. Should have put some rock salt or cat litter under the wheel that needed traction. Even a piece of carpet or the floor mat might have helped. And on todays newer cars, you can not push on the sheet metal. A lot of cars now have very thin fenders and hoods and in some cases they are not even made of metal anymore.
They're too cheap to have some dry sand available in the vehicle, but they can afford to scrub their drive wheels bald and cook their automatic transmissions.
+Wilbur Snaffel Good advice followed by really really bad advice. This isn't mud with lockers on the car. spinning a tire on ice is the worst possible thing to do. It's not going to help and it will ruin the spider gears in your differential.
We had a 2011 odyssey and we never got stuck! We only got stuck 1 time throughout the years we had it infront of my cousins house but we managed to get out after 15-20mins of trying. Not for nothing they are the best minivans!
Even with an open diff, rear wheel drive or front wheel drive, you can get unstuck. I'm not sure why these people just don't know how to rock the vehicle to get out. All of these were painful to watch.
Hey jaguars are from tropical climates, they aren’t going to know about snow driving! Hey no matter where you point them front wheels, the back wheels don’t want to go! Anyone heard of playground sand at builder supplies or pea gravel?
Please use proper winter tyres, not all season but proper north winter tyres. Summer use summer tyres and find a spot where to store them, when is other season.
I love it when these front wheel drive cars can't do what people say they can. Snow tires or not, you are not going better than an AWD or 4WD so stop saying you can. All these videos prove it, Snow tires will help, though..

haven't seen them for 40 years, nor chains on passenger vehicles here in Minnesota. My sisters live in Minn and carry cat litter in their cars just for instances like this. gives them good traction.
Or you can just buy all season tires instead of summer ones 😐 unless you live in like Florida
Long azzzzz trail of cat litter
Great video! It amazes me how some people have no concept on how to drive in snow
It never ceases to amaze me how unprepared people are to deal with driving in adverse conditions.

Why do they insist going by car when they can't even get it out of the parking lot with all the snow? NYC has an extensive subway system.
