That point of having it be more than a "photographer water cooler" is so key. I want something made for photographers that gives me reach to non-photographers. Models, potential clients, random people who might want to by a print or book. I'm optimistic about this and look forward to starting soon!

Having a lot of photographers on Foto during the Private Beta will be great because photographers will be the most critical and provide the highest quality feedback. As Foto grows, we'll increase our marketing approach to include many other people from all walks of life.
Old ig was so fun. Now it’s all about influencers. I used to post pics and got a bunch of interactions now if I post anything other than a story it’ll get a few bot/scammer comments and nothing else😂
Agreed! I’m seriously stoked for this! I only run an IG account at this point for my photography business. I just started a new personal photography account that focuses on my current long term project, but I’d love to put that account onto Foto!

I use keywords to block/mute any spam language and it helps. But man I wish IG devs would put some time into spam/bot BS.

VSCO is great but they dont allow commenting on posts so it will never take off. Image quality is great though.
