Nice review, thank you! I am wondering how these would pair against some of the Chinese models. I had some Baofeng for 10 years and worked really well, but now the batteries are dying and the charging system with a plugable base are not convenient. So I am looking for a set that can be charged over USB C and ideally have a good range. The use case is primarily when we go on vacation with my sister in law, we use them to communicate to each other between the cars.
quick question, I saw that these came with a earpiece with microphone. If I plug in the earpiece with mic. do I still need to hold down the talk button? or can you just talk in it.
Hi Danijel, didn’t test these on the highway yet but as it is quite a straight view it shouldn’t be a problem I guess. I red that some people had over 2km reach in the city center.
@@LaPalmeraie0032 am interested in range on highway if one car is 3km in front of you and at a driving speed of 130kmh at least. :) If you would be so kind to provide that information and what you think It would be really helpful also to others who drive in a caravan on a road trip.
I wasn’t able to do such kind of testing yet but I used the simple red walkie on the road before and that worked quite smooth so with this reach it shouldn’t be a problem. If I have the occasion once I will do a new video on it. Promised 😉
I have a cheaper motorola models, which can clearly transmit in 100kmh speed highway, the other car was 800m in front of me. So this would do for 3km and 120kmh
really good to know. I wasn’t able to test as a need a second car and extra camera etc. So really helpfull. Thank you so much. @MD-yw9ed @realmadridreal9636 check this 😉
the sercit bord fore all walkie talkies are the same no matter what the out side cover is becouse the F C C has control of how the radio workes short range radio thay are at 1 1/2 of a watt transmit range
all you are goin to get is one mile the radio only has a 1 half watt transmiter just like you can by in any big box store I bought mine from a store that only sell radio and all the extra you need for it same store mine are the same as yours just no funny buttons.
Hi! That’s the whole principle with broadcasting. So what I usually do is when I start, is listen for a short period if a chanel is used. If so, I switch to another. It helps that this model has an extended range of channels which are less likely to be used. For the whole week I heared nobody else on the two channels I used. 😉

Hi! Thank you 😄 of course they can pair. It’s just about being on the same channel. 😉
love the skiing.
Tnx 😉

Hi! It depends on the setting. If you activate VOX, it won’t be necessary to push any button.
Do you know if the VOX function works with the headsets. I want to use it for motorbike riding so this is important function :)
I don’t know but I will try and will let you know 😉
Tested and it worked. The earpieces that come with the set are horrible though so I would advise to buy those transparent earpieces.
wind is triggering microphone so not much use if you dont have closed helmet
No you have 3 iVox levels 😉
Can we connect 6 of the together?
Of course, you do not connect walkie talkies, you just listen in to a certain bandwidth so there’s no limitation. 😉
for highway driving in a team at least 3km in 130kmh ?

Can it be connected with other devices?
Walkie talkies always can communicate whilst on the same channel😉

Maybe but for this purpose it worked great for me. 😄
Can somebody with a walkie talkie nearby put the same channel and hear what is being said? How to prevent someone from using the same channel?

Well done...
Thanks 😉
