Overtime, you develop an ear for these cars and you can just tell off the sound if the car is healthy or not. It don’t sound good at all bro They’re not supposed to sound like that. Sounds broken. And it probably didn’t sound good before you brought it. You live and you learn gang💯
I have a 2015 dodge Durango RT 152k miles been the best to me… Sometimes it is the dealer and how many owners there were as-well play a huge factor but yea some can be bad
These are actually very reliable. I dont think the miles are your problem, like you said having a mechanic with you, checking the common issues with that year and seeing what was fixed on the car fax. Also it does loook like it was in an accident and not repaired 100% properly. Best of luck.
Hey homie from what it sounds like you should have never bought that Durango you let the dealership talk you into something that nobody should be buying. It’s wasn’t the Durango it was half you and half dealership, keep making videos
This is like buying work boots because they look cool. Fuck bringing a mechanic, be aware and research what you pay for. Just don’t be a dumbass when committing to making a huge purchase like a truck, furniture, a bitch with a fat ass and daddy issues, or a home. Homie here in the video, just didn’t do the research on the specific vehicle
By the way. Piston ring would probably be black smoke. White smoke is water so maybe since you had issues with your water pump and stuff it probably overheated and messed up your head gasket…. I wouldn’t be driving it
Yo I think you should keep it park it go ahead and buy you a old Honda and rebuild your motor or swap it out. I got a 2015 and I’m a redo the face of mine the hood, the grill the bumper and update it.
The car is almost 10 years old bro, plus that’s many miles to be playing anything over 10k for. Where you buy plays a part as well. Michigan is dodge central and they be dogging them V8s out 😂
Never buy a hella high mileage hemi. Get your credit right n get a newer one that still has a warranty man. I’m looking at some 2024s brand new 42k, like 10k under msrp I think the prices are going down on these
Fuck man me nd you in the same situation 25 years old, was desperate for a whip, nd wanted a Rango! I got a 2016 R/T AWD 🤞🏾 with 74k miles keepin up with all the lil shi nd not drivin too crazy all the time 🤣 prayers up playa
@@skyreese23 …bruh lol you was definitely wildin. Best lesson you’ve learn in life thus far. Lol I bet you won’t buy another car before doing your research again. My advice. Get your credit over 720+ so you aren’t wasting your time with shitty shady dealership getting ripped off. If you’re going to finance a vehicle. Open up a credit union account, either take your own financing to the dealership or refinance through your credit union as soon as possible. Lastly EVERY dealership will take advantage of you if you let them. It’s your job to know what the numbers should look like before you step foot into the dealership.
I salute your transparency, keep grinding you’ll get where you want to be 🤝🏾💯

Use mmo oil for the 5.7 or Lucas oil when you change your oil
Use Techron additive for gas
