Little remembered fact, the Beatles were so popular in early 1964 that in fact, the single had an international advance order of 2,100,000 copies. "Can't Buy Me Love" made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at #27 on March 28th, 1964, but then jumped directly to the #1 spot the following week.
They also occupied the top 5 spots one week around that time, and I think they had a total of 12 songs in the hot 100 simultaneously. That's amazing for that time, when there were no digital downloads & the rules were different from today.

Kae must buy Livy things outside the bedroom or he's out and Livy must 'buy' Kae things inside the bedroom or she's out. Got it! It answers the "Can't Buy Me Love" conundrum. Thanks.
@garyarnett1220 First of all I don't know WHY John was even singing or lip syncing because he doesn't even SING lead on this song, PAUL is the lead singer. So it looked weird hearing PAUL'S voice supposedly coming out of JOHN's mouth! LOL
Now you should check out their related hit, Give Me Money. It's totally the opposite take on it and it's hilarious and it's also highly energetic and a banger and it's been covered a lot.
The official song title is “Money (That’s What I Want )”. It was recorded by The Beatles in 1963, and is a cover of the 1959 hit R & B song by Barrett Strong that was released on the Tamla Records label, which was Motown Records first hit record.
You can buy fake love and sex, but if there is no underlying love not dependent on money then it’s not real love. Doesn’t mean you don’t treat each other right and do things for each other that you can as you can!
Nobody in his right mind would ever compare those two groups. They have nothing in common. Listening to AC/DC is like getting hit over the head with a sledgehammer. The Beatles explored pop, folk, psychedelia, and everything in between. They broke up 53 years ago and are still immensely popular.
I agree with you. I am Australian, so of course love A,CD,C,. But nothing or no one is better than The Beatles. They were and are the greatest band in the world.
Make sure to watch the video and see my Lady snap on me! 😂 She took offense to what I said lol

"The Beatles - Can't Buy Me Love REACTION" So um, what did you think of the song and performance?

Cameraman didn't know who to focus on, he started with John then realized Paul was singing.
Yep
It wasn't the cameraman, it was the director who clicked that camera live or the editor who chose to put that shot in the edition, but still fine
