I'm a web designer by trade and do a lot of responsive design, so being able to quickly access the same site on my desktop at home and my iPhone is so awesome. A big time saver.
I have Chrome synced across my Ubuntu laptop, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and an old MacBook. It's simply awesome! I can visit any tab I've had open, go to any bookmark from all of my devices. I love it.
I use Chrome on my home computer, my school computers, my iPod, and my Galaxy phone. Works excellent on all - could not live without the syncing. I used Firefox for many years, but the weakness in Firefox's sync method was among the things that made me switch. Couldn't be happier.
I wish Google could concentrate on actually fixing the browser rather than doing ads. I had to switch back to Firefox for the first time in 3 years and I'm enjoying it a lot more.

I wasn't sure if it were the fault of the manufacturer or my carrier that I can't upgrade. Doesn't matter, because my primary phone is a Windows Phone. The manufacturer can't prevent me from getting the latest updates on that.

Once you sign in on a Chrome browser, say on a friend's laptop, your bookmarks, apps and history remain on your friend's chrome even after you sign out. Sucks having to clean everything up.
the only major flaw i find with google chrome is the amount of system resources (RAM mostly) it uses compared to other web browsers, if they'd fix that it be the best browser ever

Chrome is fast, but the contra is it is using a lot of cpu and memory resources. The IO overhead is very high too, I believe it does a lot of recording activity in the background.
The music makes it a lot creepier. I like Google but it's definitely trying to monopolizing everything, starting from software. As long as it's not apple.

Time literally doesn't make a difference. My point is that the different versions of operating systems have different features which allow software to run on them. ICS and older simply don't have the features to allow Chrome to run on them. I have run Chrome on my Nexus S since it first came out but the stock browser is way faster so I just usually use that. The Nexus S was fairly advanced when it came out with ICS. If it can't handle Chrome what makes you think lower spec ICS phones can?

You know, I love chrome, and I would have never seen myself using IE again. But sadly I've noticed that on video playback IE10 is just so much better. It lags on chrome :( My system isn't all that powerful (1.6 ghz, 4 gb ram) but I mean, for IE10 to be able to play videos on HD without constantly loading or freezing unlike chrome on my system was a deal breaker for me. So.. I went back to IE. So, Chrome, as soon as you fix this on your browser, I'll come back to you. Promise.
No love for the total of 10 people in the world that actually use Windows Phones. Sell that thing, buy a Nexus 4 for $350. Let's do some math. You save an average of $20 a month if you go no-contract instead of having a contract. In the 2-years you would have been on a contract, you will have saved $480, more than enough to buy another phone. Plus, since you got a Nexus phone, you are guaranteed get all the software updates between now and then, an average of 1 major update a year.
There should be a way to have chrome set to a default browser until you have signed in. Once your signed in your saved passwords, your bookmarks, your browser theme and all the other settings you have are now transparent. The 2-step verification is nice, but added security on your personal computer is needed. Anyone agree?

For me it's: Firefox - Loads pages very slow, not stable, not very pretty and minimal, too much memory usage, very bad sync. Chrome - Minimalistic UI, cool apps and extensions, lightning fast, very stable, good sync support.

I have a suggestion: How about you put an option of pre-setting synchronization, maybe an option to only load selected as active extensions, and those that are not active, load only the names and details, improving the agility and lightness of synchronization of the file. I think Google Chrome uses some sort of API features on Android that is only available in Level ICS and up.
I'm only saying about speed. User experience is indeed better in Chrome. I think that IE11 will however be very competitive.

Try looking for an alternative. Just because 75% of people use Chrome doesn't mean you are forced to use it.

on android, I still use samsungs' stock browser because it supports FLASH
Because it's the default browser and the majority of iPhone/iPad users aren't very tech savvy. They don't bother changing it.
When will have chrome the work offline option? all navigators does have but not chrome.
That's actually quite useful. It is to my honest opinion a win-win scenario.

You can choose not to enable browsing history if you're not comfortable with it.
After using Chrome for almost 5 years, I have Switched to Mozilla cause it has surpassed chrome on the given date. Hope chrome will be lighter again.
