Hi Chad and Jolene. What a fantastic looking car the Hudson is. You Chad and Haydn looked like kids in a candy shop! I could see your brain ticking over there when you were sitting in the back. Probably thinking 'What could I do with this, chop the roof first perhaps'. I heard you tell the owner not to change anything, leave as is. Good on you! The car looks in great condition. Keep up your interesting u-tubes both of you. I thoroughly enjoy them. Ignore the negative comments of some people. I'm 75 now, a retired mechanic, worked on all sorts during my career and used to tinker around modifying, constructing all sorts of things. I miss the workshop, being able to manufacture, weld and see the final result all painted up. You're all doing a great job and Haydn's going to have an interesting future. Sweet, I like seeing originals cars in good shape. On Wednesday at an auction I bid on a rough original 1929 Plymouth Coupe, I set my bid at $5,000.00 and they had a bidder on the phone that got it for $6,250.00. It had been in storage since 1983, all original, wood floors and wood in the doors, the motor was locked up, the tires were dry rotted, paint was peeling, basically a money pit. I think the guy on the phone will be surprised when he sees the money pit he bought. I guessed it at a value of $3,000 to $5,000, but it is worth as much as someone will pay for it.

My Dad had a 29 Essex close to 70 + years ago. I remember the curtains and the plush velour seats and the large pockets on the doors.
Well looked after rig, beautiful, more advanced than vehicles 10 years ago, thank you very much for showing us your beautiful peice of machinery, all the best to yous and your loved ones

OMG that just brought back memories for me I used to own the same model but it was made into a delivery van and it was called a Dover (by hudson) I used it as a promotional vehicle for my bakery Great show guys love it

Beautiful Hudson. I have a 1931 with a Mustang front end, 289 ci HiPo, Chevy ll rear end four link rear.
I remember reading that Hudson manufactured the first all steel vehicle, no wood.
