I have never cooked smoked turkey necks. (I’m vegan) but when I was a kid my aunt used them to season veggies like cabbage, string beans and greens. For thanksgiving you may want to try a cornish game hen. They are small and may fit in your air fryer or crockpot.
We all eat differently, but I use smoked turkey meat to season my cabbages, various greens, and green beans, so I would have used a larger crock pot and cooked that cabbage and those turkey neck together giving that cabbage AMAZING FLAVOR!!!
I cook turkey wings with onions in my crockpot until the meat is ready to fall off the bone. I pulled the meat off, add barbeque sauce and my kid makes a barbeque sandwich. She loves it. I recently just found barbeque sauce with no soy added. Now I can enjoy as well.
It's 57 here in SW Ohio. Since I am alone I'm just going to have Encor turkey with gravy, boxed stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy. Red Lobster biscuit mix.
Yeap eat Turkey Necks.I rarely eat smoked turkey necks though. If I do, its with beans, greens, or cabbage. But, I really prefer fresh turkey necks. I season them with cajun seasonings and boil (or crockpot) and on occassion I will smother them - turkey necks in gravy.
I cook them and the smoked legs! For my legs, I rub mine in butter, lightly seasoned but not with salt because it’s very flavorful already and Ive made that mistake once. I then wrap in foil and throw it in my oven until it’s tender.
Tiffany...you are amazing and your dimples are so cute. Okay...your cooking is great...I am proud of all individuals who have decided to live on their own terms! You go girl...and stay happy and positive!!
Great video, you just radiate joy!! You are so natural! I love your cooking videos & have tried a lot of your recipes, bring on that cookbook!! Safe travels ❤️
I am practically diving through the tv to say I’ll eat the burnt one😂😂. I have never eaten a Turkey neck but I think smoked Turkey neck would be delicious. I am alone for the next month and so far my two meals have been eggs and toast! I admire how you make such delicious meals with a couple side dishes.
36min56sec of heaven on earth. I can only imagine how good your food taste. Somehow in my lil mind i can see myself cooking for you and watching you rest without a care in the universe bravo Queen on a job well done!
I love watching you cook your amazing your always gorgeous beautiful inside and out. I had dreams of the RV life but my husband shot it down fast. I'll live out my dreams by watching you .
Thank you for showing me that it’s possible to cook in an RV! I’ve been living in mine and really never attempt anything as wonderful as you do!! You’ve inspired me to get started❤️
Nice to see that everything doesn’t always go perfectly. You always seem so positive and cheerful. Always seem to have a smile on your face. I know you meet a lot of different people but, do you ever get lonely in your solo van life? Be blessed and stay safe and well.
Hi Tiffany, I really enjoy your cooking videos. Every meal you make always look soooo delicious along with a great presentation. 🍗🥔 Too bad we don't have smell a vision.😄 I also enjoy all your different adventures you bring us all along with you.🏕🤗 I missed your meet up in Orlando. I hope to meet you some day. God Bless, stay safe & happy camping.💃🏖🏝
I love watching your cooking videos even though it would drive me crazy to cook in a small space like this lol When I cook I have to cook everything at once. I usually have all 4 burners going for dinner 😂 but I love watching this. It relaxes me and I’ve already made your fried cornbread…I’m pregnant so I put jelly on top and ate pickles on the side 🤦🏾♀️😭
Awe, thanks! I'm excited to cook for the holidays. I made the mistake of waiting till the last minute to get groceries, and the shelves were empty. Putting together a Thanksgiving meal is going to take a miracle. 🤣😭🤣 I plan on shopping early for Christmas. I appreciate you watching my videos. Thanks, doll!
Hi Tiffany, yes I have cooked Turkey necks. I usually have them mixed in with my cabbage to give it texture and season the cabbage. I used Lawry's seasoning salt and then onion power , garlic power , paprika and blk pepper. But truthful I love smoke neck bones instead 😂🥰 I always wonder where you are when your cooking? Suggestion .. Well . Smoked Turkey wings. And or maybe a nice Barbara Q steak with Spanish bean and rice .. Asparagus nor brussel sprouts.. Very nice❤️❤️🌹🙏
Hey Tiffany, I don't know if you have an outlet in your bathroom, however when I needed counter space in the kitchen I would fold a towel in my bathroom sink and place a cutting board across that and plug my crockpot up and sit it on the cutting board. Just wanted to share in case that's an option for you. Love your videos doodlebug ❤
Tiffany have you ever tried adding sugar (I use splenda or some type of sweetner) with the butter, s&p to your cabbage? it's sooooo good it's the only way I cook mine. Love your videos when your cooking I wish you would do more of these. Have a blessed day!
Hey Tiffany, great video. You are a very neat and tidy chef. Love your work. I have one pro tip on keeping your chopping board stable, put a damp paper towel under it, that’ll keep her steady.
Many blessings to you! I had smoked turkey necks and bean, and rice this week, I wanted fresh turkey necks, but the market only had smoked necks, it was absolutely delicious! 🙏🏽👌🏽💯
Hi, Tiffany I just use butter in the skillet, cook your onions, add cabbage, it makes its own juice. You could use a little of that turkey, for extra flavor. Love your channel.
Yes I make smoke turkey necks in my instant pot pressure cooker, definitely faster then my slow cooker. I make it with potato salad and country greens!
Tiffany, I really enjoyed this video. I am vegetarian so; I love the way you prepared the cabbage. Your cookware is fabulous...pink is my favorite color!💖
Hi Tiffany, liked your video. I have cooked smoked turkey necks in crockpot also and love using onion and garlic powder and some white onion with them. I've also cooked cabbage or kale greens with them and the flavor was soooo good. Hmm I think it's time to cook them again, lol! Beautiful smile!!
I do the same with the cabbage. I buy a regular size head and cook 1/3 at a time with peppered bacon. Uncooked cabbage keeps in fridge for a couple of weeks.
Hi Tiffany! Your video was recomended by YT! Where have you been all this time?! I am definately binge watching your videos at work this week! Vie 💚💚🇨🇦
Heyyyy Tiffany.... I cook fresh turkey necks with white potatoes..carrots and Jamaican spinners (dumplings)..I season to my taste with onion/garlic powder..minced garlic..onion..lil salt..black pepper and chicken powder..pinch of rosemary/thyme..I use chicken stock instead of water and I also add a can of cream of chicken..you can get creative with this one pot meal..Be Blessed....
I really like Turkey necks. Lots of flavor. I usually cook mine in the crock pot with a pot of beans and onions (specifically, 15 bean soup). Absolutely delicious! But I am sure yours is going to be delicious as well.
Ummmmm you are making me go out and shop again. Love the videos had to comment. On this video because I love ❤ smoke turkey necks. You taught me that I can freeze cornbread. 😌
Hi Tiffany. I really enjoyed today's cooking video. Here's another idea to try: a family member suggested trying turkey tails. They are amazing. I add them to my greens and the meat for a pot of red beans. They actually have a good amount of meat on them. Again enjoyed watching you cook. The meal turned out fantastic.
Hi Tiffany. No, we don't have smoked turkey necks here in western Canada. Usually the neck just gets put in the stock pot in my experience, because of the many small bones. Mashed sweet potatoes with just a bit of butter, salt and pepper is a favorite too. I love watching you cook, you give me ideas for new things to try.
Hi Tiffany, I have not cooked turkey necks but it looks delicious. I love your videos. I always feel like I'm in a friend's kitchen watching her prepare a great meal. Yum yum 😋.
Yummy never had smoked turkey neck before but I want to try them and the cabbage now I want some love sweet potatoes with brown sugar butter a bit of cinnamon 😋
I've never had turkey necks, but it looks good! For Thanksgiving we are having ham and red velvet cake for sure. Being Cuban American, the sides will be Cuban food, and mac n cheese. Cause you know, its mac n cheese. Looking forward to your Thanksgiving dinner video. Tiffany, next time you come to Florida, hopefully you can come down to Miami. Blessings and safe travels.
I love the fact that you COOK, not just heat up, full meals. You treat yourself right and I'm here for it.
