The Spideypool team-up comic is the only comic arc i've read from marvel, and it convinced me that Deadpool and Spiderman are one of the best duos I've ever seen. Not even getting into the obvious gay potential, they're perfect character foils to each other. Their conflicting ideals over the usefulness of moral codes, killing, peacekeeping, all those things, made their comic actually nuanced and more intellectual than i was expecting from a marvel comic. Plus, they're both super quippy and snarky so their banter is top notch

Yeah, okay, I'm going to be honest, calling Peter Parker a middle class white guy is ignoring so much important context. He's not "middle-class" he's literally poor, money problems are one of the most common struggles he goes through. And he's also heavily Jewish coded, partly because the people who created him were almost all Jewish, and has been explicitly Jewish in a few adaptations, like Into the Spider verse.

I know you mentioned it in this video, but when people talk about Spideypool, I feel like they really overlook the fact that they are literal heartmates. They’re canonically meant for each other. It wasn’t Shiklah, who Wade was married to, or anyone else he had ever married or dated. It was Spider-Man. There’s literally no way it could get any gayer than that.

@@avili9733 in other words, nah they ain't (maybe Deadpool though) you know this kinda reminds me of something the director of The Digimon movie did, he confirmed that Kari was in love with the protagonist Tai (whom also happens to be her OLDER BROTHER) and even her voice actress rolled with the idea and played her with that intention in mind, naturally most of the fans were not really into this idea (unfortunately some of them where REALLY *INTO* THE IDEA) and they ended up analyzing the movie, they ended realizing that of you see the series with this in mind most of Kari's attitude and development MAKE A LOT MORE SENSE (why is she so clingy? INCEST, why is she so fragile without him? INCEST, why does she seem to be interested by people who looks or act like her brother? INCEST, why is her character arc about trying to be less dependent on her brother? Other than that prior to those comics whenever Eddie and the Symbiote showed up it was hinted at that there was a dependency between them until 2016 when the comics took it a step further and made it out in the open about their feelings for each other.

Some people are more likely to be an underdog than others, especially when you consider race or sexuality. However, Peter Parker was an orphaned child who grew up with a nerdy disposition. He struggled financially and was often bullied. I think he was an underdog. And I love both Peter Parker and Spider-Man because I truly believe he is relatable to everyone.

I see you. And you're right. But when "let them be friends!!!1!" is used to shut shippers down (which I know you are not trying to do) I have two reactions:
1) Male friendship IS explored a ton in media. Both in films and television. It is explored more than female friendships. It is definitely explored more than queer relationships, by leaps and bounds.
2) Different interpretations of the same piece of media can co-exist. Just because someone or several people see a dynamic as a friendship, does not mean I have to do the same. And vice versa.
