No doubt this sort of shooting is popular because it supports good results, even from those who are not accomplished marksmen. That’s not the case with CMP or NRA High Power Rifle Competitions, which require much marksmanship development for good results.
John I feel for you, I had the #1 slot in 83 when the NRA was running the team. They ask my family if we could come up with $60-80,000 for expenses for 12 months of shooting in Europe to prepare for 84. We gave them the middle finger not realizing that this was how the older NRA shooters were keeping the younger/better eye sight from the team. Live long and prosper

And I helped a lot of people which is more important I did my mission which caused a person to become a Great Leader in my church and rescued a lot of people and finally to complete my Mission after 21 YEAR’S. I am now Dying with radiation poisoning from one of my missions. The Dr’s said it would happen later but didn’t explain exactly how I would go down I live on morphine and sometimes it doesn’t work but I still get outside and practice once in awhile and enjoy it if only for a little bit. Thanks for responding

I would have to see the hits on paper and how far your shooting before i would call it precision. Shooting a precision rifle doesn’t make you a precision shooter

Highly recommend clay targets and sporting clays I find that to be more fun but just as calming
@darebear2438 If your AR cannot do long range shooting, then it is a personal problem. Any properly built AR will hold atleast 3/4 moa.

Whatever cartridge they're firing doesn't seem to have much recoil.
They've probably got a bunch of weight on the gun. That or they've got some damn good muzzle brakes lol.
Actually I think the things on the side of the handguard on the red rifle are weights.
First gun w the 767 looks to be 6.5 if I had to guess, muzzle breaks reduce up to 70%+
We mostly shoot 6mm Dasher / 6CM / 6BR / 6BRA. Our red rifle there has weights on it. They're all fairly heavy with good brakes.
