From the author:
The graphics, music, sounds, controls are all absolutely phenomenal with interesting characters, gorgeous trippy backgrounds, and tough-but-not-too-tough bosses and puzzles. I'm very confident in saying that it's one of the best games you've probably never heard of.
This run uses glitches that allow moving screenfulls at a time through obstacles and walls.
Pulseman was Gamefreak's attempt to give seizures to the world before the Porygon episode in the anime
lol
LMAO real real
What a coincidence, I was looking at this run yesterday for the first time in seriously forever. God, it's been over *fifteen years* since I submitted this. Still a fun watch though, the playaround bits are amusing if overhyperactive
...Pulseman for Smash, btw
Final Smash just corrupts your video drivers.
Ah yes, Pulseman, my absolute favorite SEGA Genesis game. I wish Gamefreak would do something with him outside of nods to his existence here and there.
Maybe they will once Pokemon stops printing money.
@@AndrewBlechinger yeah, that ain’t happening
Maybe they can make Ledian viable.
Fr GameFreak used to make some great platformers, bummer that now it's just pokemon
What if in an alternate timeline, every GameFreak IP only had one installment per-console every 5 years?
Very Sonic-esque stage clipping
Fun fact, some of the music in this game was reused in the Gen 4 titles for Pokemon
Along with Volt Tackle!
galaxy gang
And Rotom was based on Pulseman.
@@QuadFactor21 Ledian was too I think
Imagine if every Pokemon game only had one version. And each Gen was named by its number. Like Kanto as "Pokemon 1", Johto as "Pokemon 2", Hoenn as "Pokemon 3", and Sinnoh as "Pokemon 4".
So, this is the game that put Satoshi Tajiri on the map and paved the way for Pokémon? Strange how it was released for a Sega system! =P
Anyway, Raichu! Use Volt Tackle on that Rotom! ^^
I love this game, best looking game for the system too.
I really want a remake or new game of pulseman
wow, voiced cutscenes
Before Pokémon, Drill Dozer, and Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight, there was this.
@@SpookerK they’re all made by gamefreak
Don't forget Tembo the Badass Elephant!
@@AndrewBlechinger And Bushi Seiryuuden.
Was this SEGA’s version of Megaman?
Wasn’t this made by the Pokémon company?
@@trceb This game predates pokemon, so yes but actually no.
It’s gamefreak specifically
You want The Wily Wars.
English voices never sounded so fresh!
So as the story goes, some lonesome nerd made a waifu on his computer, and then had a baby with her and that's how pulseman came to be I guess?
I am going to compliment literally everything about this game, despite the fact that my video is running in 144p
Ah, one of Game Freaks earlier games. The first Pokémon games Red & Green were halfway done at the time before released in Japan.
I liked the part where he said ‘oKeH’
Awesome game. Just wish it didn't perform as badly as an average SNES game/GameFreak's other games.
lo de desaparecer puedo decirles que es veridico,me salió un par de veces con el boton C
He’s faster then sonic!
He's faster than Sonic!
What?
MegaChu the Hedgehog, I remember this one.
Pulseman = Megaman + Sonic
How can i take the shortcut in Casino?
You know, that's an awful lot of voice acting for a Genesis game
See, why in the actual fuck can Pulsman BLJ in this game😭
It’s off brand sonic with the 1st level backdrop very reminiscent of knuckles chaotix
Eh, closer to Ultraman but it's a fair analogy for a game that came out 2 years after Sonic 2.
Pulseman has character voices and while the new Pokemon games doesn't.
