JRGProjects Vader may have done evil things. But I dont think Vader or even the dark side are actually inheritantly evil. Its just a different path to achieve your desires. Even the Jedi had desires and goals but in the process of their goals Jedi overlooked and allowed many evils to happen to achieve their version of "good" peace and stability. At the cost and expense of others like slavery in some star systems but maintaining stability. The dark side strives to achieve peace and stability but through brutal force and domination and by embracing the emotions like make up your desires. Both can be seen as just different paths to the same goal in a way

And personally I dont believe Vader deserved to be redeemed but he was by finally killing Palpatine. It turns out that Influenza exists in a galaxy far far away and has strains so effective that even basic self-preservation instincts cease to exist when it comes to contemplating whether your actions have consequences.
I'm always a fan of when a big crime Lord thinks he's the big bad everyone needs to fear then the *actual* big bad appears and puts them in their place. Especially when said crime boss thinks they're in control up until the moment they're done.
I'm surprised at how well this story arc developed. There's this beautifully excuted parallelism about the relationships of the billionaire and his son with Darth Sidious and Vader respectively. It's very subtle but I feel like it was definitely on purpose because it rhymes so well.
