    This is one of the best video tutorials I've seen. It’s straightforward and to the point, with no unnecessary hype or loud music. Just a clear and simple guide. Definitely earned a sub!

    Love the way you break it down and explain everything step by step. What if you wanted to add another element to this box package? Such as making it look like its sitting on a table or something like that to add more visuals to this?

      Not hard! If you've got an existing image, simply import and arrange your created art to the top. If you want to create a 3D shape in Illustrator, go for it. Just angle to match your 3D box.

    Thank you. You made this easy. Is there an easy way to add a shadow to an extruded 3D box?

    Hi, thank you so much for your clear and useful tutorial! I am wondering if there's a way to have each panel design syncs automatically on the 3d while we make 2d design changes?

      You're welcome! When making 2D design changes, you need to edit the piece, then open the symbol for that side (double-click on it)... or you can open the symbol and edit that on-the-fly. If you have any questions, feel free to shout!

    do you have a video making a 3D pillow box in illustrator? trying to make one

    • @mackyhall
      @mackyhall  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pillow box? Thinking about this. We may be going past what Illustrator can do, shapewise. At this point, we may need to go into a 3D modeling app. Without the pinches on the ends, it's easy. With them, it's tough. Going to think this over...
