Damn I missed these. A lot of ASMR has become about entertainment. And I like that for some activities. But nobody beats Dmitri for the origin of this finding great sounds and helping with sleep.
The rise in popularity in ASMR has opened the door for mediocrity. Some channels ride on the bandwagon for money and fame, it's becoming more apparent with people being heavily sexual in their videos. Not to mention the triggers become boring and shallow and some people don't know how to whisper. I highly doubt any of them check their audio. All pale to the likes of Dimitri, ASMR magic, gentlewhispering and Caroline asmr. Of course this is my opinion and you are all entitled to yours but it's something that I feel needs to be acknowledged.
The best to ever do it, amazing visuals and sound quality aside. Your whole being creates tingles, you barely look into the camera because you’re so focused on your craft, subtle movements, elegant transitions, slow and calculated, not fake and rushed like most asmr channels these days.
This is real asmr. Just sounds for sleep none of this barely asmr and purely for money. The genre is so exploited for profit now it’s nice to see some ogs like massage asmr and ephemeral rift sticking to the roots
Crinkle is not usually my go to trigger, but this delicate and nuanced approach made them so so much more enjoyable to me than most others are able to make them.
I wishthis channel would make a comeback, this was one of my favourite channels, one of the first ones i started following and never disapointed, i used to be excited when a new video came out, after 2016 all the main artists were stopped from making money with youtube and instead youtube picked its favourites and those are the ones you see today. TH-cam spoil things for the decent creators like a punshment. Hope one daywe see a return on this channel, nobody does ear to ear like dimitri. I always come back to this channel hoping its going to back to the way it was.

I'm not sure, if you plan to hire a TH-cam Editor in the future, to edit the videos, having them remove any sudden, loud audio, immediately before a finger-snap cue. Glancing over comments from previous videos, people are more distracted by the sudden, _(unedited),_ finger snaps, rather than the slight bump, or unintentional grazing of the microphones. Now, the snaps don't bother ME much, in fact, they are _'part'_ of an old ASMR video of yours, where I quite like them, but thinking about , some of the viewers, who commented, that a sudden finger-snap ruined their relaxation, is one thing to consider. Regardless, keep doing what you do, as long as you, yourself, enjoy doing it! 👍 I much prefer you, to other ASRM, because of the "authenticity", from the raw, unedited videos; Other ASMR artist do fade-cuts and such, which really takes me out of the moment.
Great to have you back. One thing I noticed and I'm still trying to see if I like it or not is how you have the lower end of the sounds amplified or just slightly louder and the higher ends kind of brought down a little
I had this idea you can probably do. You take 2 of your soft wooden blocks and a cloth and cover one block with the cloth and tap the other block on the block which has the cloth, and no talking to make it easier

Tbh there are a lot of cheap ASMR channels on youtube. But Dimitri's is by far the highest quality that you can find.
