I'm seeing some common questions on how these Pro level drivers control their cars in the air so easily, so here is a quick answer for everyone:
Throttle control with the radio and ESC. When you pull the throttle in mid air, it makes the car lean backwards or point the front into the air. If you use brake then the car will dip forward where the nose wants to go down. So the drivers will use the trigger on the radio to have the right amount of throttle and brake and depending on their setup their ESC might add braking for them so they don't need to use brake on the radio trigger.
They can also turn the front wheels while in the air to help 'pitch' the car so it lines up better for the next corner or section of the track too. That way they can land the car and have it pointed the direction it needs to go next already.

I dont know how I ended up on RC cars but this turned out way better than I thought it was gonna be. That battle for 2nd was a good one and the last two laps were a nail-biter.

i know right. i drove the kind of cars myself and it is extremely hard to balance when you're in the air. i never really got the hang of it
That yellow and orange car would not be denied!! Messed up early then went full beast mode all the way to the end. That last lap had me on edge!!

You don't have to imagine. You can get a great quality truck for under 500.
Getting the truck isn’t the hard part, keeping tight in the turns is lol

This was so mesmerizing, I just love motorsports, in any size, as long as these is driving skills involved, I'm in. I watch The BTCC & go every year it comes to Scotland. But this I feel I could do. I know it looks easier than it is. I have a lot if RC cars. Also collect model cars 118 124 scale mostly. So I'm definitely gonna be watching more of these ✌

Went from watching trees getting cut down to RC racing don't know how but that was awesome. I love the response crews! we have a crash stay where you are do not panic we have trained professionals on sight. At least give them chairs to sit on not buckets lmao

As fine tuned as these cars are, it’d take a while to work out a camera position that’d not mess the jumps & turns up. These guys spend hours at the track finding that sweet spot & throwing a GoPro on one sounds like a cool idea, it’s probably not gonna be as intense bc it won’t handle turns & jumps like in this video. I raced, nitro & electric. Never was good, but I could tell when the smallest thing was off.
I screamed at my PC watching that final lap haha !
