What are the rules for semi truck pulling I might want to get into it
Have lots and lots and lots of money. Most of these trucks are built from scratch and are capable of 4-5 thousand horsepower.

These trucks gotta be leaving in 8th gear on a 18speed to be getting up to 20 something mph.
Man I drive a 18spd isx 650hp 2050tq deleted heavy haul truck and I thought my truck has power. Damn truck wouldn't pull 100ft with that sled on the back..lol

Most of them only have 2-4 gears to select from. They select a gear prior to their run and hope they selected the right one.
Very little of these trucks are stock. Most of the competitive ones these days actually run custom tube frames chassis for weight/balance/rigidity.
Awesome engineering goes into these trucks.
I figured out something
The back of the truck must be heavy to make more grip with the ground
And gears ratio must be long not too long but a little bit more
As the weight box comes forward it adds more weight to the back of the truck
Some of the trucks also run a hydraulic ram cylinder that pushes the front rear axle down since weight transfer is lifting the front end of the truck up, otherwise that forward rear axle would lose traction
Someone want to explain how that sled ran up the backside of that truck?

By the looks of it, the driver hit the brakes pretty hard for some reason. You can see the brake lights coming on (reflecting off the sled) and all rear wheels locked up. Unclear why he wanted to stop as there was nothing in front of the truck. Maybe his foot slipped.

@@crankshaftchaos maybe a knee-jerk reaction to another related mechanical failure, like a failed clutch, lost oil pressure, etc.
Didn't think of this originally, but it occurred to me that he slammed on the brakes intentionally. If I remember correctly, they get a rerun if they stop before the 50ft mark and he was allowed to run again at the end.

How big is their turbo and are they twin turbo????????
Sometimes the announcer will say how many turbos they have and state other facts about the engine. One example is at 1:42 in this video.

Advice, to those managing the track: YOU OUGHT TO HAVE THE TRUCKS, CLOSER TO THE RIGHT-SIDE white line ! This would facilitate, the left pull of truck, to have MORE WORKING SPACE, TO COMPLETE THEIR RUN ! ( common sense, has gone EXTINCT in this hi-tech , generation. NOT rocket science, just a keen observer )
