I hope she knows how much her fans adore her. Fifteen-twenty years ago she was releasing amazing records and playing to small crowds in nightclubs and almost quit the business.

I remember hearing "My Sweet Lord" for the first time in the summer of '73. Mary was three, I think. Fifty years later, I hear this song and think of the similarities.

this is great, i love that her music is still the same vibe but not monotonous. i am so glad she isn't trying too hard to rebrand or make music that doesn't sound like her music, bc the more mary timony the better imo

Hm, OK, this is interesting. I just heard of her reading an article from Guitar Player. My first impression was oh, yeah, typical generic indie rock stuff, but she definitely has something different. I'll have to do a deeper dive, but so far, so good.

I really tried and hoped to hear a young guitar heroine prospect that shreds tasty licks like Samantha Fish. It didn't happen for me. I was VERY disappointed.
Unbelievable that she was ranked in the top 100 list of guitar players. Ridiculous, that probably means she beat out Robert Fripp or bad brains guitar player. Not impressed.
