I think I saw her band Helium open for Sonic Youth in the 90's along with the Amps! That was rad. This performance is very cool too

I remember being at a Helium gig in the early 90s where they opened up for Belly.
Helium were promoting their first 7-inch at the time and Mary and the band signed my copy for me
