Is it a good idea to bring a WRX on the sand dunes? Probably not. Is it a good idea to bring half the stuff on the sand dunes that people bring? Probably not. But it's all fun as hell.
Honest question: How painful was the cleanup? How much sand got into engine compartment, etc? I have a 2004 WRX Wagon, love it! These cars are unstoppable.
@@TWAU28 Oh, I know you can make it on all seasons. Did it myself in my E61 wagon, though at 15 psi or whatever they tell you to run at, on 225-50/R17 tires, I ended up burping a tire and getting sand in the bead. Just wondering what he was using, since I couldn't tell. I run snows for rallycross though, of course.
Subie for sale all highway miles never driven hard
Awesome video but next time I wanna hear the sound of the subie instead of music

This girl has been in sand several times. No issues!

Less cleanup then normal off-roading. Sand is narly but also the most forgiving.
Might wanna check the air filter after that😂
Great vid! Nice production.
Nice dude! LOVE silver lake. Getting a sti delivered in 2 days. Can't wait for the summer season.
They say the new owner is still finding sand in it to this day.
Wanna hear the whip :/
Anything about how you mounted that flag?
I used an aftermarket tow hook as a long stud to the front tow location. Unscrewed the hook and bolted onto that to mount the flag.
did anything break
Nope 👌🏻
Thinking of buying one, however does the sand go in the air vent? If so does it harm the engine?
That’s what an air filters for, keep the factory filter
What tires are you running?
What kind of tires were you running? Snow tires? Gravel or mud rally tires? All seasons?
These are just all seasons. Lower the pressure, keep momentum, and wheel spin up. You’ll go most anywhere.

Where is this I wanna go with my subie
Jonathan Ramdass it's in mears Michigan great place if you decide to go air down your tires to 15-10 psi
Scott Mcconnell thanks man
This is it right here! Right where she belongs. Dope ass video!
What kind off suspension?
Ksport gravel spec. But you could easily do this with stock struts
The popped tire was a sign 🅱! The golden ones look cooler on your car xD
Low tire pressure. That’s why it popped off the bead.
@@TWAU28 run tubes.
Is it stock
Pretty much. Catless downpipe with a tune. Running Ksport gravel spec coilovers in this videos
sick vid
The beat tho
I need to lease a wrx and let it rip all summer. It'd be a good way to have fun and keep my truck nice.
its ok the car has mudflaps

Musica a un video de auto. Salame
Music in video is a thumbs down for me
What suspension?
