Zimmermann rotors are usually good rotors. Imho the problems were the EBC red brake pads. I have a friend who is also a mechanic and some months ago he said to me that with slotted or drilled rotors you should never use ceramic brake pads.
Bruh I had these on my ‘14 ST3 but OE plus pads, pads were ass lol so I didn’t get to fully experience brakingpower before I got rid of the car, wanted these for my Mk7 but they weren’t available on the site…didn’t even bother contacting the site 💀 I got Brembo drilled rotors/EBC Yellow Stuff pads for fronts, and Powerstop drill and slotted rotors/RacingLine RP700 Pads for rears 👌🏿🔥
@@jacobMMotorsport no but I have had them over 1000 miles and have put them to the test and they are way better than the non pp brakes saved me a couple times already
Can u put the actual part numver u bought? Last i looked through the R1 website i couldnt find the size of the rotors in mm. I have the 340 x 30 mm pp rotors as well.
They come with new small caliper bolts but you will need new OEM big bolts that hold it the the actual car. You don’t really need to replace them but you can it you want
EBC pads are overrated. They’re better used on BMW’s, for some odd reason. But on VW’s, they’re trash. The R1 kits are very good kits, especially for the money.
just emailed grant for a set! thanks bro
Sweet!

Dislike them with a passion R1 didn’t improve my breaking in the canyons up or downhill and are very heavy but I hope they work for you

Did you replace the caliper carrier bolts as well? I believe those are one time use.
No we didn’t I know feels like a sin but using more than once ain’t gonna hurt ya 😀
@@jacobMMotorsportYeah I agree. It’s only your brakes after all. Not that important!!
