@@williamsmith666 I disagree because the first handful of years of the Garfield strip are actually pretty good and charming. I think the fall off happened sometime in the mid to late 80s and thats where Jim started caring more about the merchandising than the quality of the strip. I still really love the era of the strip where Garfield actually looked like a cat and did cat things

I been buying lots of Canned Raviolis from Chef Boyardee, Taste similar to them Round Ravioli but still Delicious, Missed buying those when I was Younger
I feel like I want to eat a can of ravioli it is too good to I miss that commercial in that era if I could turn back Time I wish the 90s was here I used to get so excited as a kid wanting to eat a can of raviolis like that.
I'm not entirely sure either but I'm leaning towards it being Lorenzo Music in a different voiceover studio from the one where they recorded Garfield and Friends using a different mic and different equipment. It doesn't seem to effect Thom Huge (Jon) as much but I suspect the Garfield and Friends studio had everything perfectly set up to get the best out of Lorenzo Music but other studios wouldn't have the exact same set-up. Also keep in mind that this is commercial is from the mid-1990s and voices change over the years.
It later occurred to me that they also might have sped up the first Garfield "speaking" part by 5% to 10% in editing so that Lorenzo Music sounds slightly higher pitch than usual. It kind of reminds me of when I would vacation in England in the late 1990s and I'd watch reruns of X-Files or Star Trek: The Next Generation that were slightly sped up for time so that they could fit them into a 50 minute time slot with ads. The voices sounded just a tiny bit higher pitched compared to watching them on television in Canada.
In the Summer of 1994, Campbell Soup under its now defunct Label “FrancoAmerican” launched a PAWS licensed Ravioli line using Garfield’s name. Garfield Ravoli was pretty tasty. I fondly remember eating it regularly the 3 years it was on the market. It tasted like Ravioli cooked in Spaghettios with a very zesty taste. They were FAR better on your palate than the ConAgra 90s Chef Boyardee recipe which was mediocre and loaded with MSG.
I HAVE THIS RECORDED! It's on my tape of the Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show! AND the recording is on a VHS! TRIPLE DOSE OF NOSTALGIA FOR 90's KIDS!
Same here lol
Where is all the ravioli?
I ate those food.
Where's the Cadbury candy?
I ate those food.
Where did all the Cheerios go?

You're such a bad kitty that's it i'm done that's the last straw garfeleld
I hate alram clocks
Wow, Garfield will plop his name on anything.
And yet this commercial is still charming. Thanks for the upload.
The only thing that doesn't have Garfield name on it are condoms...and Brigadeiro
That was the name of Jim Davis' game; create a brand, not a character.

These were the best ravioli ever i wish they still made them.
Same. They hit differently than Chef Boyardee
I remember buying a similar kind of ravioli in 2017 that was a bit like this, but without the Garfield branding - and I think Campbell's made it.
There should've been a Garfield animated movie in the 90s with this animation style.
If only Judgement Day was made
I miss those ravioli. Tastes like pizza
Voice cast:
Thom Huge: Jon Arbuckle
Lorenzo Music: Garfield
Gregg Berger: Odie
Odie dosn't have any lines for this ad.
Who did the animation?
Obviously Jim Davis.
Yep. You're right. But what studio could've animated this with Jim Davis' help?
This animation is amazing
Another hit funny joke, Jim Davis
I'm in the mood for ravioli now
Abel Mantor Eating some Canned Ravs from Chef Boyardee right now 😋

A whole year supply of Garfield Ravioli wouldn't even lasts a whole day for Garfield.
probably not even HALF a day
@@germanratgaming8131 Or even a quarter of a day or less because Garfield's metabolism and his greedy, selfish, gluttonous personality.
If Garfield won that lifetime supply of chocolate from Wonka, the factory would go bankrupt.

This doesnt sound like Lorenzo's portrayal.
