- JustPlanes on the Flight Deck of the Air Baltic Airbus A220 for a 3 hour flight from Antalya in Turkey to Riga in Latvia.
Air Baltic began operations in 1995 and Just Planes was lucky to visit and film the airline at an early stage with a fleet of Avro RJ70s and Fokker 50s ; 10 years later we returned to Riga to film the airline's fleet of Boeing 737-300s, 737-500s and 757-200 and another 10 years later we're honored to once again return to the launch airline for the brand new Airbus A220 (C-Series)!!
We're delighted to have this program hosted by both the A220 Chief Pilot as well as the Technical Pilot who will present this beautiful new aircraft in complete details inside and out!

Airbus A220 is all screen dashboard layout, very few steam gauges. Such a technologically advanced aircraft.

At first I thought it was a 787 due to the cockpit but it was a A220! Love the video 😃
They should have upgraded a330 neo with this cockpit or design a replacement the a220 300 will easily replace a320.
Both share the same underlying foundation of Collins Proline Fusion
@@williamdodds1394 that wouldnt happen since the a220 was designed and made by bombardier, airbus bought it from them
@@AvCasey19 Airbus is currently studying the possibility for -500 variant to replace the 320.

Павел Марковский aircraft seatbelts are a 5 point harness. The shoulder straps only need to be worn for take off and landing. Most pilots take the shoulder straps off once reaching 10,000ft not sure why the captain didn’t
