On my 2nd X ADV 750 & love it ! Fast enuff, 80 mpg , comfy & plenty of protection, still some nice scooters in there tho 🛵

I have a 2007 Tmax 500, love it and in reality more than fast enough. 51,000 miles !
Suzuki Burgmann 650 was the best in handling, driving, comfort and consumption. Owned one for 10 years when the gearbox failed. A pity they don't make it anymore.
It sure is. What killed the 650 was being more a touring bike in my opinion. It's too heavy and big for my taste. A scooter is not about touring its about practicality. I think a Forza 350 is the way to go. Doing it all well without loosing too much of the character of a scooter.

You should also look at the three wheelers coming up as well.
In that list my favorites were the Kymco AK550 and the T-Max.
But I miss, what I have purchased in this price-range: the BMW CE 04.

I own the 2022 XMAX 300 here in NY State USA and I love it! Hopefully the TMAX 560 will be available for purchase here in the USA one day soon because I would love to upgrade in the future.

I love my XMAX 300 it is the best, believe ME, 250 miles range on a full tank and 90/100 miles per gallon average, and i trash it, massive storage under the seat, better than any other, super comfortable seat for ME and my passenger, ultra cheap to service yourself, and will do over 90Mph with passenger no problem. i love my XMAX 🥰
Oh yea, i nearly forgot, it on weight 180kg kerb weight

This is the best top ten maxi scooter list i've ever seen on youtube. Xadv is far more better than all of them, but it's very hard to call it a scooter. I've got one, it has the best riding experience...

I have forza 750 its a little better from adv, i test both
@@user-yj5wq4yv5u well, forza 750 0-100 km is around 10 seconds, xadv 4.1 seconds. Xadv can offroad, forza cannot. Xadv has better brakes, better suspensions, has wire rim. There is nothing forza 750 better than Xadv...
I own a 2022 Honda PCX 160. It's great for commuting around town and for cruising locally, being the top speed is approximately 65mph. I'm 5-10 and 185lbs. I wish they'd just make a 200cc variation for a little more power. I purchased it new with zero miles for around $5,000. I'll be upgrading to a Honda NC750 DCT motorcycle next year.
Cant afford any of them. I'll stick with my 20 yr old bicycle

I just bought a 2024 ADV 160. I prefer a 350 but they won't sell it here in America. If that ever happens will have one.
How many miles per gallon, how much is it for maintenance like oil changes, & where may they be bought?

@@adrianp7475 Forza 750 has 2 very big (310mm) front discs with brembo 4 pot radial brake system. It brakes A LOT!! If don't know what you're talking about then don't... It is a VERY competent scooter!!

You are correct. Only downside imo is it’s not meant for riders over 5’10 but I think it’s a sick maxi

I didn't understand the absence of the Forza 350, which in my 48 years as a motorcyclist I consider to be the best medium-displacement project in the world, it's a motorcycle dressed as a scooter. Easy to maneuver in the city and excellent performance on the road. This absence is strange.

I own a 2020 XMAX in NYC and I love it too! I'd only get rid of it if Honda decides to bring the ADV 350 over to the states.
As usual. For me, a maxi scooter is one that can go on a freeway withithout being ran over. But as usual, the only manufacturer to sell in the U.S. is Kymco. Not Yamaha, BMW, or Honda. Their 500cc or bigger aren't sold here.

The Xmax 300 is the best !!!! Speed yet gas mileage. With big tank ....comfortable as any EVER ....nimble and agressive...you would think you're on a smaller bike with its low center of gravity

Each year scooters and bikes are getting more complex with technology! But WTF the prices are ridiculously high! The costs rise each year naturally as materials etc go up in price, but you are also paying for the technology too! If you can afford it, good for you!

Tmax is maybe better, but not twice better. And twice is difference in price between the two in my country. 9.000eur vs 18.000eur.
If you ask me 9.000 is too much for any kind of scooter but 18.000 it is insane.
Of those 18.000 you probably pay 9.000 for astronomical contracts yamaha pays to stars like VR in GP and I don’t watch or care about GP or VR I care about myself and contract with my wife 😄

The selling point for me was dealer support.
I did consider a AK 550 which would have been considerably cheaper but dealers are few and far between.
Here in Australia there is a Yamaha dealer in nearly every large town and multiple dealers in bigger cities.
The t- max yamaha really I not understanding it not deserve that money... My fav is X adv Honda ❤

American people prefer motorcycles to scooters because their deep-rooted love of Harley Davidson. However, the ease of riding scooters in urban has attracted more riders recently.

I agree. Tech and riding qualities are better than ever. But, this design that everyone is going for these days won’t age well.
When forms follow the trend, these scooters tend to show aging within few years. However, buyers of scooters are buying for ease and practical usage.
I am riding a 125 scooter of 1997 as my workhorse daily in urban with no complaints.
they make and save money thats why people gets em. going from point A to B in quickest possible manner plus traffic filtering if you want to waste your life in traffic. Ask delivery drivers how they make money especially in metropolises like London. Picking Forza 350 next thursday or friday would like the forza 750 but its too expensive

Yes, unfortunately all Scooter models aren't available in US and Canada, And the reason is that the people of these countries do not use scooters much. Unlike North America, in Europe you can find all models of scooters from different manufacturers.
if the weather wouold be different in UK I would defintely ride scooter BUT it is what it is and I drive EV car

350 is ideal. The bigger scooters suffer from less storage, 50% weight increase, high fuel costs and no cvt transmission. Making them less practial and worse handling than a motorbike because of little wheels and poor weight balance
Very true! I had the Sym Maxsym TL508 and swapped it for the KW Versys 650, which was a great move.
Xmax 300 or Forza 350 are ideal, IMHO!!

Best scooter for the monet is the 2023 Xmax 300 ....I know I've tested all and for speed, storage, gas mileage, and roomy ....I'm 6'3" 34 inseam...NO COMPARASIN ....I love mine 6299 out the door price K&N Tulsa, Ok

Forza 750 2021 model ...1200 miles on the clock 3 recalls and a faulty tcm £1350 to repair....wouldn't touch the Forza again. With covid it's 2.5 years old....

it's ridiculous that most of these larger scooter weigh like 500lbs. My 125cc Honda Airblade weighs just 230lbs. There's no reason for an extra 250lbs just from a larger cylinder engine. It is like the manufacturers have little respect for scooters and the smaller cc bike heritage, and just slap together and big pointlessly heaven bike laden with extra metal. The result of this high weight and low bhp is poor performance compared to what could be achieved if more such care would be taken to treat the scooter as a serious bike and not a gimmick.
My adv160 weighs 280lbs lol
My BMW CE 04 weighs about 465lbs. Of course, that is heavy. But I dont' want to miss any of its 62Nm (engine) torque, wich makes it feel like a 700cc motorcycle...
My 2023 Xmax 300 can top out at 90 mph ....gets 75 mpg at 70 mph ....it is the best of all the maxi scooters and
WEIGHS ONLY 397 lbs....and I picked mine up for $6299 out the door

Honda Forza 750 and X-ADV 750 are not scooters. That is NC750 in different shell.
Honda Forza 350 is the direct competitor to Maxssym 400.
I don't know. What maxes a scooter a scooter? Or even a better question: when does it stop being a scooter? I think the greatest disappointment of the XADV and Forza is the chain. Should have been a belt. My favorite is the Forza 350.
@@hermanstokbrood I would say the transmission makes the line. If not CVT than definitely not a scooter.
Personally I ride F350 but the suspension is a big disappointment.
I will have it improved by the local guru without changing the parts. I was told that better oil will do much.

Maxi scooters can't have one cilinder engine, it's only a big scooter but no a maxi. I've got an old Honda Silver Wing 600, and it's very difficult to me change to take the same, not more, that I got.
One cylinder is good for home-work not for longer comfortable trips.
Since America never embraced the Metric System, why not put measurements in inches? Too much work? I don’t know.

Yamaha has traction control system and Abs standard .....very safe to ride.....is lighter and weight is lower....has alot more standard pluses unlike others !!!! I checked them all out and Xmax is the most comfortable and motor is smoother !!!!
